Things your baby does that drives you crazy

Sapphire, Holly is awesome

Daisy has learnt that blowing bubbles/raspberries is not as fun if you haven't just thrown up... So sometimes when she throws up she smiles and blows bubbles with it :dohh: made a trip around Tesco fun earlier!

Does an adorable pathetic fake cough, trying to keep a stern face and say no is nigh on impossible :haha:

My baby grabs on my hair so tightly that I'm often taking stray hairs out of his closed fist but when I release the grip on the clump of hair he then uses the other hand to grab at my chain that I wear, we can easily go back and forth for a good 5 minutes til I'm resigned to calling my OH in to take him from me. I'd take the chain off but my mum gave me it for luck and I think if I take it off I'll get bad luck and I have layers that fall down if I tie my hair back, i'm screwed either way, it's funny in hindsight his determination to pull on something

Drool.... I hate drool. And she loves to get a fistful of fabric, and just suck on it. I bought her the most expensive teether I came across, yet she insists on sucking on her clothes and hands. :dohh:

My little one has the most adorable, smiley little conversations with himself.

At 4 in the morning.

She grabs my cheeks and dive bombs my nose with her open mouth. Her face as she does it is utterly adorable but a) baby drool all over my face, sometimes up my nose and b)those tiny talons hurt no matter how often they get cut - scratches all over my face at the mo!

Ryan has started practising his pincer grip on the end of my nose- ouch :haha:

mine practices that on my boob (and nip) sometime...double ouch.

it also drives me nuts but makes me smile too--when she is so distracted during a feed that she pops off the nipple to talk to the tag on the boppy pillow, the speck on the wall, the ghost in the ceiling :haha: my nipples dont think it's funny as she turns her head with my nipple still in her mouth and waits for it to pop out-ouch...over and over again...but it's pretty cute when she does it and then smiles at the tag on the pillow :)

We do this too--and my necklace is my engagement necklace from DH so i wont' go without it...so we go back and forth--hair/necklace. I've resigned to hair up all the time and necklace backwards if needed.

Haha these are brilliant, keep 'em coming!

My hair is constantly tied back but I'm thinking of going for the skinhead look

Maria is a nipple pincher, very painful. Oh and if I feed her in public and someone walks past she will invariably pop off the boob to stare at the person and reveal me to the world :haha:

ditto--O is always exposing me to check out the world around her...

When I feed LO and he does not want anymore he smacks the bottle off his face and sometimes off my hand as well, he gets drops of formula on his face and on mine and right as I'm starting to feel frustrated he gives me an ear to ear smile with little squeals and totally melted my heart

He's always been hard enough to get to sleep, but in the middle of the night you used to be able to lie him back down and he would settle.

Now, when he goes quiet, it's because he's stood up and grinning like a Cheshire cat over the top of the cot rails :dohh: Cute as anything, but annoying as hell!

On the occasions that lo gets a bottle, she will continuously spit the milk out of the side of her mouth. Bibs don't even come close to catching it :( Most of the time its ok, but when I'm tired and cranky it definitely gets irritating.

She also insists on pulling her own hair and then screaming at me like I'm the one doing it. That's actually funny...

Ha ha!! My LO also does that hair pulling thing ;) And she's only 5weeks old! (masses of hair)

If I'm on my laptop and she's near me, she's straigjt0o

*sigh*

...straight over to bang on the keys. And if I'm reading something on the laptop, she somehow always manages to find the 'End' or 'Home' button so I lose what I was reading.

Oh god where do I start

Like Sapphires Holly she'll only drink in one position - wherever we are
Ditto above with the trying to eat everything that comes close to her mouth - except at meal times where she can be SO hit and miss and meltdown if something even slightly upsets her
Licks EVERYTHING, carpet, floor, cats
Can be incredibly fickle, pick me up/put me down/I want X/I dont want X

Wont be left alone - Some days I just want to pee without heron my knee!!!

God I love her tho :cloud9:

Aw, I love Nim, shame the crazy twins don't live nearer :haha:

:haha: Holly does that too. I bought her a toy laptop because she loves mine so much, but all she does it repeatedly close it so it says 'goodbye' in that horrible robot voice over and over :dohh:

when my lo screams like hes being hurt so i pick him up and straight away he gives me this big silly grin. i think omg ur so cute but have already got the manipulation down to a t

Just though of another... Lo keeps trying to feed me! Anything will do, blocks, cups, finger foods etc. She's not great at getting food in her own mouth so I wish she would just concentrate on herself!!! :dohh:

Georgebaby - I am the victim of serial manipulation too! :flower:
