Things your baby does that drives you crazy

Aw, I love Nim, shame the crazy twins don't live nearer :haha:

If I'm on my laptop and she's near me, she's straigjt0o

*sigh*

...straight over to bang on the keys. And if I'm reading something on the laptop, she somehow always manages to find the 'End' or 'Home' button so I lose what I was reading.

:haha: Holly does that too. I bought her a toy laptop because she loves mine so much, but all she does it repeatedly close it so it says 'goodbye' in that horrible robot voice over and over :dohh:

Ooh, that might be a good idea for a Christmas present for her!

Just though of another... Lo keeps trying to feed me! Anything will do, blocks, cups, finger foods etc. She's not great at getting food in her own mouth so I wish she would just concentrate on herself!!! :dohh:

Georgebaby - I am the victim of serial manipulation too! :flower:

Maria loves to feed me her fingers!

Every time I change LO nappy, she wriggles and rolls so much it nearly impossible to do it!!

THIS!!! ^^^

It's like he's planned his escape tactics before I've even undone the nappie tabs! Every time I think I've guessed what tactic he's going to use he comes up with a new one! It is actually really funny, but not when there's poo stuck to his bum! LOL!

She'll be guaranteed to prefer yours, they always want what they can't have! :haha:

We have the same problem. J now owns my old mobile phone (I specifically bought a new one so he could play with my old one in peace :dohh:) we've had to take the batteries out of the old remote control so he can play with it and he now has his own mini laptop......but he still wants my stuff:dohh::dohh::haha:

babies are much smarter than we give them credit for, they know when we're trying to fool them with fakes!

We have a toy remote control for lo. Dh & I pretend to change channels with it & ' leave it just out of reach so she has to work for it. But she STILL knows!!! Too smart for their own good!!

Clever baby! :haha:

:haha: They definitely know. Holly has her own sky remote sans batteries, but ignores it because it's hers. Maybe we should let them have our stuff and then they won't be interested anymore hehe.

OMG! Unlatching right at let down and smiling as milk sprays EVERYWHERE!!! :haha:

Austin has taken to saying ' and then' , 'and then', 'and then' all the time. hehe its funny bless him, he will do something or we will be doing something together and he will be saying it over and over lol

Oh Ava I love her SO much... she drives me freaking nuts. EVERYDAY...

- Anytime I leave the room even if it is to put something in the garbage- she thinks I have left to china and I am never coming back, she is absolutely hysterical.

- If she drops something she will have a meltdown, until I pick it up like all out screaming like she has been pinched... like really its not THAT bad.. and of course NO other toy will do.

- she sits for about 10 mins and then gets into this awkward crawling position but her leg ALWAYS gets stuck under her- and she seems to think Ive done this to her...

- I bottle feed, and she just absolutely does not want her milk anymore-- she will cry for a bottle, while the cap is on the bottle she will nose dive for it, but once I put the bottle in her mouth- well that's a laugh, then quickly turns to an all out temper tantrum...

haha .. there is just too many to mention..

but oh I do loooove her to pieces!

My baby grabs on my hair so tightly that I'm often taking stray hairs out of his closed fist but when I release the grip on the clump of hair he then uses the other hand to grab at my chain that I wear, we can easily go back and forth for a good 5 minutes til I'm resigned to calling my OH in to take him from me. I'd take the chain off but my mum gave me it for luck and I think if I take it off I'll get bad luck and I have layers that fall down if I tie my hair back, i'm screwed either way, it's funny in hindsight his determination to pull on something

We do this too--and my necklace is my engagement necklace from DH so i wont' go without it...so we go back and forth--hair/necklace. I've resigned to hair up all the time and necklace backwards if needed.

Lol why didn't I think of the necklace backwards? It's so simple :dohh: thanks for the tip

Some of these have made me cry with laughter.....

Freya's new trick is pretending to be asleep - she will go all quiet and still in the moses basket with her "blankie" (comfort toy) over her face. Then when you check, she'll be staring at you with a beady eye, and when you attempt to put the dummy back in, she'll give a HUGE gummy smile.

She's also discovered her legs - she's just had a spinal cyst removed so has only recently been able to lay on her back. She keeps lifting her legs clean off the floor, and the thumping them down again - and she does it everywhere - in the pram, on the changing mat, in the moses basket.....you just hear this loud "THWACK" and she's off with the legs again......

Madison knows the very second hubby and I want to have some "us" time. She can be asleep for 20 minutes and as soon as we get 'lovey dovey' she wakes up screaming.

Sophia will be taking her paci, sucking on it, knock it out of her mouth with her hand and start screaming. I put it in, she smiles, knocks it back out of her mouth with her hand and starts screaming. This repeats until she falls asleep She also will be laying her head on my shoulder while taking her paci, turn her head into me and rub her face back and forth on me, paci falls out, she screams, I put it in, & repeat..:dohh:

but that smile makes me forget how frustrated I am and makes me feel so guilty for ever being frustrated with her in the first place.:cloud9:

she contantly kicks me in the arm while I'm trying to bf her, then she has to grope my shirt or skin while bf and often pinches me

Maria would do that too except without the smile :(

Maria has a very cute but annoying habit of standing up in her cot and opening the curtains that separate our bed area from our living area (annoying cos she should be sleeping!) but she usually is very noisy when she does it. Last night however she was completely silent, I turned around and there she was, staring at me - I almost had a heart attack! It really freaked me out! But she looked so cute I had to laugh and give her a cuddle even though it was the middle of the night.
