Yes, definitely go now. I went to my doc yesterday and he has referred me for a day 21 blood test even before he asked how long I had been trying - I asked him about any testing and he didn't blink Maybe it is because I am so old lol

My fiancee and I have been trying for 3 months, but I haven't been on BCP for 10 years, which I heard preserves your fertility. I am in the same boat as Tigerlilly75 in that I am very apprehensive of going to doctors and getting tests as i am worries about what the results will be. July 6th will be testing time for me.

Welcome LL :wave: - you will certainly learn a lot from here, I have!

All I can say is that whatever happens, knowledge is power and the more you know the more you are able to deal with whatever the situation is, so don't be afraid of going to docs as it is much better to know if there is a problem and be able to deal with it than to keep trying and not knowing! But anyway, hoping that you get a BFP without any intervention required! I was on the BCP for about 20 years but I hadn't heard of any effects on fertility...will have to google that!

Hey seems well be joining you in this boat too . Have had first tests done all ok so far , we see our fertility specialist in a few days . I'm with butterfly I just want answers and I'm more afraid of what I don't know. Im more worried they'll find no reason but I'm not bothered by any intervention . I'm medical so that might have something to do with it.
I'm not being dismissive of fears expressed here though , sorry of it sounded like that. Perhaps we can help each other along the way .
