Hi girls

well the biggest and most horrid part of having a baby is beating the buldge afterwards, i thought maybe people would like to share tips and keep us up to date on how the weight loss is going for them, we can encourage each other..................

so any tips for any of us new mums to get rid of the saggy belly!!! lol

and i have to loose 2 stone before the summer! so far its going CRAP! snacking when Hollie eats and forgetting to eat altogether is not good, have bought the wii fit and been on that and still weighing the same! why!!!! going to start having kellogs for breakkie and salad or more cereal for lunch then a dinner see if that helps! I HOPE SO

I am going to join Weight watchers tomorrow to see if that will give me the kick I need. I had no cravings while I was pregnant, now I cant get enough chocolate!

ill join!!! ive got 2 stone to lose too, by sept 11th when i go on holiday, wanna be a yummy mummy!! xx

i started slimming world and have about 2 stone to lose at the start but I have already lost 11lbs of that so hope to get the rest off before August. Well before June I hope, but i am a bridesmaid in August so want to be at my best:) I am feeling so much better about myself since starting and my clothes fit and i feel more like me (just with a saggy belly). Looking forward to the summer to get out for more walks. I used to exercise a lot but i have no one to mind Harry now so i dont go the gym:(

you should join the bnb biggest losers thread in health and well being section.

great thread hun, there is another one though called biggest loser with a large group of people if you wanted to be part of that as well

Good idea Hunn,

we were just talking about doing one of these weight loss threads in the March mummies....:)

:hug::hug:

well i just need to get my enthusiasm back, i just loose all interest when i have done 9 days of an hr a day on the wii fit and still weigh the same! if i could see something happening i would be more interested in doing it.

i think i will look into joining weight watchers but like most have a problem finding a babysitter, also doing the excersise at home i just get into it and Max will start crying so by the time i have paused it and seen to him i cant be arsed to get back to it!

I have ddr for my ps2, but my mat broke before I got PG, haven't replaced it yet but when I do (will order one tonight) I will do it at least once a day (makes a big difference for me) I've cut my portions down and my clothes are getting bigger, just need the work out jump start.

I think we lose a lot of our muscle mass when pregnant and by now doing exercise, you are working off the fat and building muscle. Remember muscle weights more than fat.

This is at least the theory I'm sticking too :) I haven't lost weight, but yet I have gone down from a 36 to a 34 ( I was a 32 pre-pregnancy). My goal is to get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans which at the moment I can't get past my thighs.

which Wii fit games do you like the most? I LOVE the stepping, its a challange to get the timing right and then the boxing makes me sweat like crazy.

oh i love the stepping, the first one is a bit slow the second one is brill, i always do 2 lots of this as it keeps me motivated! and yes the boxing makes me sweat too which i suppose is a good thing! i dont like the jogging much! only cos i am crap at it, and the hula hoop makes my hip hurt.

how many weeks/days did it take for you to notice any change in size, shape, weight? i have been doing it 9 days now and i spent between 40 mins to an hr and a half every time i go on there. i am concentrating only on the excersise ones at the moment as i think the other ones are going to tone fat into musle and i will be even huger lol!!! i want my boobs to go, my thunder thighs to go and my sagg belly to go then i will feel better!!! xx

i'm doing a low carb diet, have never eaten breakfast so don't bother with that, have soup or salad for lunch and then whatever my normal main meal would have been but without the carbs. I did it for my wedding 5 years ago and lost 3 stone and managed to keep it off until i got pregnant. been doing it for a week so far and lost half a stone, only 2 more to go!

yeah i did a similar thing when i had my dd i ate breakkie, corn flakes plain, with salad for lunch then soup for dinner and that was very effective, may have to do that again although it made me ratty but i am now anyway so cant get any worse lol xx

I can't really say how long it took. Nothing was happening and then suddenly I put the jeans on one day and they were way too big.

I do cycle on the odd occasion which also helps. If you want to measure your improvement, why don't you get a tape measure and then measure the areas you are worried about (exactly the same as me btw) and keep checking once a week if you have lost any width.

hope it goes quickly for you!

I also joined a gym yesterday so I can now use the machines that measure body fat which will be cool.

yeah i was thinking about the measuring thing, that might do it, make me see that somethings happening to make me feel a bit more enthusiastic about it all!
i joined a gym before my wedding and lost loads doing that but cant afford it and dont get the time either, its annoying cos i love the gym it gives me a buzz!! i used to come out thinking i wanted to go back in for another hour. lol!!

i lost a lot of weight because of B'fing and run after Lincoln, lol
but my belly 's still saggy. No hope for my belly unless I sit-up or do some belly exercise, lol
I'm too lazy for that though
