Just wondering what other people do/think as me and OH can't agree!
1 - Do you put all of your presents (excluding stocking fillers) BEFORE Christmas day (so the kids see them for the days/week leading up to Christmas or on Xmas eve (after kids have gone to bed)?
2 - Who are your LO's presents from? You/OH, Santa, some from each? Growing up -everything- I got for Christmas was from 'Santa' but my partner had a tradition of only the stocking was from 'Santa' the rest was from mum and dad. (Which he feels helps explain why we get presents for/from other family members, why would we buy for them and not for our LOs.)
3 - Boxes!! I bloody HATE all the packaging on kids toys, every birthday/Xmas so far we've spent the majority of the time just trying to unravel stupid bits of plastic, wires and cardboard just so LO can play with her toys. I was thinking maybe this year I will unpackage everything (well the heavily packaged things) and wrap them like that, out of their boxes. Does this take away from the 'new' effect? Does it even matter? Thoughts?
