Three Christmas questions!

1, Put them out on xmas eve when santa comes!!

2, All from Santa.

3, Wrap in boxes they come in from shop, incase they need to be changed or taken back.

I do the same.

Nothing like the look on their faces when they go to bed with minimal to nothing under the tree and wakeup Christmas morning to a ton of presents under the tree. :cloud9:

1 ~ The ones from friends and other family members go under tree when they are bought round. The ones from me go under Xmas Eve.

2 ~ Most are from me, 1 each from their siblings, 1 from Santa

3 ~ I wrap them in their original packaging

1. We put them all out christmas eve :)
2. Stocking from santa aswell as a special present he snuck on the end of their bed overnight and rest from us
3. Still in boxes (when she is older it will teach her a bit of patience and will only have one toy at at time rather then toys and boxes everywhere)

1 - Do you put all of your presents (excluding stocking fillers) BEFORE Christmas day (so the kids see them for the days/week leading up to Christmas or on Xmas eve (after kids have gone to bed)?

Always after they have gone to bed, makes the surprise in the morning all the better :)

2 - Who are your LO's presents from? You/OH, Santa, some from each?
Mostly from santa, I usually label a couple from us.

3 - Boxes!! I bloody HATE all the packaging on kids toys, every birthday/Xmas so far we've spent the majority of the time just trying to unravel stupid bits of plastic, wires and cardboard just so LO can play with her toys. I was thinking maybe this year I will unpackage everything (well the heavily packaged things) and wrap them like that, out of their boxes. Does this take away from the 'new' effect? Does it even matter? Thoughts?

Hmmmm...... see I love the whole "new in box" thing, it was always so exciting when growing up.
You could take thinsg out of the boxes , remove all the tie wraps add batteries and just sit them back in their boxes then wrap them so that they are ready to use!

All santa except one from us

The only thing we take out of boxes are large items like kitchens, playhouses etc which need building as my kids are impatient waiting for them to be made up haha

1. Presents go under the tree after LO is asleep
2. Stocking full of stuff from Santa, couple of bigger things from Mum & Dad
3. When Freya was little (as opposed to the incredibly grownup 4 yr old she is now!) we used to remove toys from the packaging, so she could play with them right away. Now though we leave things in the boxes.
It's so crazy all the wires and tape and stuff that hold toys into the packaging. Takes a friggin age to get into them. My Little Pony toys are the worst.
