I was thinking of getting my 4 year old an wooden easel for his main present, however since he has started reception he has been really enjoyed playing with the wooden train set they have there, I have found a nice cheap chad valley wooden train table set for 49.99, do you think this is suitable for his age?

That is lovely can I ask where you have seen it please? My LO would love it.
No advice on age sorry as he is only going to be 18 months at Christmas x

We've got this, I got it because it was much narrower than the other train tables I looked at, I have to admit he doesn't use it very much, he prefers to lay his track out on the floor. He's about to turn 4, I don't see why it would be inappropriate at 4, he still loves his trains.

I think that's probably the perfect age for it x

I bought one for my son last year he was 3 and he loved it and still does :)

We had this one but found it too small for us. My DS now has the ELC one and it is fab, he plays with it for hours and uses it for his cars, duplo, dinosaurs etc too. The ELC table is quite big though.
