Trans women and Breastfeeding - an interesting read

A conversation with a friend sparked a google search that resulted in the reading of this article/blog post:

It's interesting. What do you think about it?

I think its interesting and could be used to help same sex couples more as well as trans. if you can both bf then why not! I can imagine people being very uncomfortable with this sort of thing though but I think its great.

wow, I think that's amazing, it's not something I've thought of but I guess it makes sense as the difference is mostly the hormonal balance which can be altered. It's great that she got the chance to experience it and I bet she never thought for a minute when she started her trans journey that she would be able to do that.
Just goes to show that it show be possible for almost everyone with the right hormones, barring those with medical issues preventing it.

I also think it is amazing. I used to know a transsexual who lactated, very interesting indeed.

I really don't know why, but I thought I would feel uncomfortable with this idea. I then read the article & couldn't stop reading it; it's absolutely amazing! I'm so pleased that 'Sarah' got the opportunity to experience the amazing feeling of breastfeeding & the relationship that comes with it. The things that doctors can do these days!
