Hey, I read an interview with the author of the Sookie books, Charlaine Harris, and she said that the actor Alexander Skarsgard isn't even close to the Erik she had in her head when she created him. She was picturing more along the lines of Vladimir Kulich (head of the Vikings in The Thirteenth Warrior).
I don't mind Skarsgard - he's intriguing and pretty yummy - but I don't think he has the chemistry of Bill and Sookie. The show is welcome to change that opinion with plenty more vampire porn, however!
And the shower scene from Book 4 better be in there and it better be good!

I saw season 3 advertised on Virgin catchup as having been on SFX? When I went to find it on catchup (and I was going to pay for it too!) there was no sign. I'm still waiting for C4 to show it, let alone season 4!
