Trying to Bf and work

My goal is to BF my son for 12 months he is now 6 months and we are going strong on boobie juice

I'm planning on going back to work when he is 11 months old and I'm already panicing about feeding. I will be working from 8am-5.30 for two days a week so he will be fed in the morning and in the evening no problems but what about during the day?

By that age will he just be having morning and evening feeds? I would love to hear how you've managed going back to work and continuing to breastfeed.

If I'm honest I'm terrified of expressing at work, I just don't think I can do it I'm a bit shy when it comes to those things

Isaac is BF fully (no formula) and I work. I don't express at work but do morning and night, so that he can have a bottle in the middle of the day. He tends to have 3 feeds a day and I hope to wean him off the middle one in a couple of months!

Personally I don't find it too bad, although it almost feels like I'm constantly attached to a pump when at home!

my eldest was FF at 11 months but was only taking 2 feeds a day i think its common by this age for them to drop daytime feeds

I went back to work when Poppy was 13 months old. She was mainly on morning and night feeds but she did have day feeds but mainly as a comfort thing and usually just because i was 'there.' If I ever had to leave her for any reason it was like a breastfeed didn't cross her mind, until the minute I walked through the door and she was straight to pull my top down!

I have just started back at work and at the moment I am pumping once a day. I have a massive stash of EBM in the freezer so when I go back in September (I am a teacher) I am going to leave her a bottle of EBM and feed morning and evening, I am hoping I can do that until she is only on morning and evening feeds as it is not going to be possible for me to pump at work in September - there isn't time!
