My lap didn't affect my cycle. I had my lap on July 25 and af arrived August 3 - about one week later.

I'm on CD 24 of 27 or 28 here - and going a little batty symptom spotting. I keep praying that it's my month. Baby dust to everyone!!

Thanks ladies!

I hope its the same for me. I had af like cramps at 6 days post lap, but af didn't show yet.

Arggh! I really hate waiting! That's all I seem to be doing nowadays!

I remember that my dr told me they would do a pregnancy test right before my lap just to be sure I wasn't already pregnant. I remember how sad I was to hear that it was negative (even though I was barely half way through my cycle). I think it really sucks that anyone should have to go through so much heartache and so many medical procedures just to have a family.

Not trying to be a pity party right now, but this is wearing me down. :-(

I have so many things to be grateful for in my life. But TTC for all these years with no luck makes me feel cheated.

And I hate waiting. For anything!

Ok - done complaining. FX for everyone on their journies. :flower:

Hi ladies!! I would like to join. I am ttc for my 1st. Ww have been for almost 4 years now.. :( I am having a lap & tube flush on September 5th. I am anxious to find out what they see. I have done around 10 Clomid cycles over the past 2 years. I've never had a BFP...yet!

I feel your frustration Libby, my partners mother took a cat seat and stair gate off her sister I was so hurt when I saw them just sitting there! I feel as though I'm out this month I've caved at 11dpo and tested bfn always the same it could be still early but I have no symptoms at all! My partner works away and he said he might not be home for our next cycle also! The girl in the chair next to mine found out she was pregnant the day of the laproscopy I was like give me a break!!! Haha but then I guess she must of been going through the same thing as me so I just brushed it off it does wear you down but you will get there!! Hope u get your bfp this month xxx

Welcome Wantabby:)

Good luck with your upcoming lap!

Sending lots of baby dust your way and hope you get those beautiful 2 lines soon!

I haven't been ttc as long as you have, but I can only imagine how you must be feeling! I too have been on Clomid (3 rounds) all bfn, so I know the anticipation and disappointment you feel. I really hope that the lap will be the answer to your prayers!

Thank you ladies! Stacey, I am in the US so I'm not sure what NHS is? I am ready to have the lap so I will hopefully have some answers as to why i have not conceived in the past 4 years.. it is beyond frustrating! I was obsessed around the 2nd year of ttc, but I have calmed down and do very little stressing over it now.. I'm just drifting along hoping I end up pregnant.

I know exactly how you feel! I go through obsessive phases, and then I have to chill out because it takes over my life.

I have done a million things to keep myself distracted - I even trained for and ran TWO marathons (that keeps you busy, believe me)!!! It's crazy to think about all the things I've done and all the days that have past while I've been HOPING and waiting for a baby!

Having the lap done was good for us. While I didn't have anything "wrong" with me, it gives me a little bit of hope for increased chances the next couple months. And, then we know the next step is to see a fertility specialist. We have always struggled with what the right "next step" was (especially with the cost!!) and now we are there, like it or not.

So, even though I don't have all the answers, at least I have a "plan" in my mind. That helps a lot!

The Nhs is our national health service hun payed funded by taxes in our country it's brilliant!! I'm training to be a nurse at the minute so I'm full of admiration for it :) I know what u mean I go through stages of obsession to 'welllll it'll happen not to worry' haha

Hey,
Hope you ladies are well!
Af showed her ugly face today, right on time! I can't wait to see if this cycle will be the one! I don't wanna get my hopes up, but I'm sure you ladies know how it is!
