TTC#1, 6DPO, Any Others? Looking for Cycle Buddies

Hey all,

This is officially our 3 month TTC. Every month I feel like its going to be it, but this month I've kind of taken a "it'll happen when it happens, I'm not getting my hopes up only to watch them crash down when I get my AF" take on things.

O'd on the 13th according to FF, and I've had really sore/sensitive nipples since and no CM (which is weird because usually I'm gushing until AF (Sorry, TMI)), and a backache. Today I've had mild cramping, and a bit of a headache. my temp dropped .2 degrees (98.0 yesterday to 97.8 today) so I'm wondering if its possible that I'm experiencing implantation today?

Any other cycle buddies? What sort of symptoms do you have?

Hey I will join with you!!! I am 5DPO... but I don't have any symptoms so far ( yours do sound great!!!
this is also my 3TTC, first month ended with a chemical and I remember having plenty of cramps...I don't track temperature either. I am not optimistic this month, when are you going to start testing????

I'll probably start testing on the 24th (AF is due any time between the 24th and 28th). Last months cycle was 31 days, although I'm typically 27. This is my first month temping right from last months AF, so we'll see how it goes. It is nerve racking waiting so long though!

I'm 24. No, we don't use an OPK, just BBT charting for now. Hubby is hoping we don't get a BFP in September, because both my mom and sister have gotten pregnant (my mom 3 times and my sister twice) in September. I'm almost convinced its the only time any female in my family can get pregnant haha.

I am 6DPO as well. I O'd on cd17. OPK had a smiley on CD 16 and I had a temp rise on CD 18. My symptoms started about 3 DPO.

3DPO: I woke up feeling different. I just knew the egg was fertilized. Tingly breasts. Flushed/feverish feeling all over my skin. Similar to the feeling you get just before you get sick. a little dizziness.

4DPO: Heartburn, same flushed/fever feeling, heartburn, weepy (I am a sensitive person but it was over the top that day), one spot of nausea, hot flashes

5DPO: Tingly breasts, hot flashes, gas, cranky/irritable, weepy, headache (so bad I had to lay down), vivid dreams (not sure if this is a symptom as my dreams can be pretty vivid normally)

6DPO: headache, gas, weepy, tired (took 2 naps today, one was to get rid of the headache). The other stuff seems to have gone. Not sure what this means.

I took 2 tests. Dollar store. One on 5DPO and one on 6DPO. Both negative of course. But I have an insatiable need to test so I bought cheapies until I could afford to buy the more pricey ones and it's closer to af.

Sounds like this month will be it for you Aayla! Keep us posted My sister in law just texted me this morning to let me know she got a BFP! It would be amazing if we got pregnant in the same month. Hopefully it happens

7DPO and I'm feeling hungry as ever. Had dinner at 6:00 pm last night, was starving (like, stomach growling and everything) by 11:00 pm. Woke up this morning at 6:00 am and had breakfast... by 11:00 am I'm already eating lunch! Good thing I decided to pack enough food for two meals if needed....

I'd love to join y'all! Today I am 4dpo. I used an opk to determine when I ovulated. My cycle the past few months has been consistently 29 days so AF is due on the 28th. This is our 3rd month of ttc also! We did an at home male fertility test at the beginning of the month and learned my husband has a below normal sperm count. We aren't sure how low though, but it's making me less confident that this will be our month. I'm trying to stay hopeful though.

Took another test today (7DPO). to the naked eye nothing but my eyes were heavy with sleep so I thought, let's try a flashlight. So I shined my flashlight app on it and I could see the barest, faintest of lines. Within 5 min too. I took a dollar store test and this brand has never given me an evap line (even hours later). So I went to my hubby and got him to look and he saw it too!

I also had a huge spike in temperature today as well. not sure what this means. Wish I could take a photo but they just come out blurry.

love to join you.... So i am 37 years old... Husband and i have been actively trying for 2 years.. i am on Clomid 50 mg - I di my first round of IUI back in October and actually had a miscarriage on Thanksgiving.. But i have been surrounding myself with positive people understanding that everything happens for a reason. I am 9DPO and have decided to do my 2nd round of IUI this month - next week ... Baby dust to all you ladies and lots of prayers..

Oh Aayla that's fantastic! I can see your spike (a link to your FF chart is in your signature haha) Maybe try re-testing in a couple of days to confirm?

Mrs.Stewart86 - have you tried charting? The two week wait is definitely nerve-racking, but don't lose hope! Hubby has ED and can't always do the deed, even with some medical help, so I know the feeling. It'll happen

conceive78 - I'm so sorry to hear. My sister in law miscarried last December, and she took it pretty rough. Is this your first month TTC since the miscarriage?

I will be testing everyday lol. Tomorrow I am going to buy the more expensive tests. Hopefully I can find one of the old FRERs.

I haven't tried charting temps yet just because my sleep quality is terrible and I wake up almost every hour. I have been using FF to keep track of my period and ovulation days though. This was also our first month using astroglide ttc which is just like preseed so maybe that will make a difference.

abennion. Thanks for the response ... It's been 8months since the miscarriage but my husband and I have been trying again since June. I've decided to try another round of IUI. I've heard some pretty good success stories. Lots of prayers. Positive thinking. Just good to get it out with other ladies who are in the waiting process.

I'm actually 8dpo and my cycles have been around 31 days. I'm going to start tracking ovulation .. I'm predicting I will see the double line maybe Wednesday or Thursday next week. Then the IUI is done the day after...So the TWW will be crazy for me. I'm nervous excited anxious...

Sorry not 8dpo ... 8days into cycle.. Which means I have another 6 days before ovulation..

I hope it goes well! I'm definitely interested in hearing about IUI in case we try that route down the road. That's exciting though! I'm sure that will boost your chances for a BFP!!
