Hopefully your doctor will up your dose. Do you get CD 21 bloodwork done to check your progesterone? Maybe your progesterone is a little low after you ov or something. A higher dose might help make you ov sooner too.

No I dont have any blood work done.

Just started AF last night! Woohooo!! Now I get to start my first round of clomid!

BUTT... I just got off the phone with my doctor and he ordered me to take 50mg of Clomid CD3 - CD12!!!??? I have never heard of anyone taking clomid for 10 days. I guess I will do as doctor orders, but has anyone else heard of this?

I think I have heard of this one time before, from another girl on here. It was a few months ago and I don't remember the reasoning behind the 10 days. It was in the Clomid Club thread in the LTTC forum if I'm remembering correctly.

I'm beginning to think my period is never going to come. I'm just being impatient because it has only been 3 days since my last pill of Provera, but I'm just so ready to start Clomid again.

OH WOW!!! THIS SHOULD REALLY WORK... I TOOK CLOMID FIVE DAYS (2-6)AND SOY ISOFLAVONES 2 DAYS(CD7&8)...SO SINCE SOY AND CLOMID ARE SUPPOSE TO DO THE SAME THING I FIGURE IT LIKE I TOOK CLOMID 7 DAYS...THE ONLY THING IS WOW... YOU REALLY MIGHT HAVE QUITE A FEW MATURE FOLLICLES THIS CYCLE(FATERNAL TWINS!!!)...THIS IS SOOOO COOOL KEEP ME UPDATED!!!!HE DOESNT THINK THAT THAT MANY DAYS WILL OVERSTIMULATE YOU?

i have came across alot of ppl taking it strange cycle days, because of human error...the most days that i have heard of are seven, but dr. do diff thing for diff reasons...what cd are you on..id take it cd3, but first thing on monday i would call my doc and see if he intended for you to take it for so LONG...???

I'm on CD1 right now and he told me to start on Sunday so that will be CD3. It says right on the bottle to take it for 10 days. I'm just going to do it (because hey it might work!), but I'm definitely going to talk to him about why he has me taking it such a strange amount of days when I go in for my appt on April 20th. Maybe he has a reason.. who knows. He is supposed to be a really good fertility specialist.

I'm sure your doctor has his reasons, and if his nurse didn't question it, it might be something that he does regularly. Maybe taking it for more days helps stimulate the ovaries better, or prevents from overstimulation. I have no idea, but I'd love to know when you find out! =)

Hey all! I started the Clomid today (Day 5 of my cycle), taking 500 mg twice a day until day 9. I have PCOS, & had taken Provera a few weeks ago to get my period.. Went to the infertility specialist yesterday & my follicles are looking good so far; Hoping the clomid works! I go back for another ultrasound on the 15th, & take the Ovidrel shot after that! Ahhhh good luck to everyone!

HI.... 500MG??? OF WHAT? CLOMID? WOW I THOUGHT THEY ONLY GO TO THE MAX 200-250 ONCE A DAY? IF YOU DONT MIND ME ASKING IWAS CURIOUS TO KNOW WHY SO MUCH?

yay!!! I hope this will be the month for you...i think administration has killed this thread do to me talking about....well you ladies know the ones that were here from day one....i because of me... I was on clomid and not seeing a dr. I think ill start a new thread soon...this sucks!!!

I actually found this thread on the TTC groups & discussion forum, so i think its still active. I would love to join you ladies! I'm on my first month of clomid. Had my follicle scan today with 1 mature egg and 1 smaller egg that my doctor doesn't think will ovulate. Hope I catch it! This is a really awesome thread!

did finally arrive full force, so now I'm CD 3 and taking my Clomid CD 2-6. I think I've already got a case of "Clomid Crazies"! My moods have been all over the map today ; it's ridiculous.

This is my first cycle. i'm trying to be cautiously optimistic! its been a LONG month already! lol! i'm on CD 13 and waiting to ovulate. I usually ovulate on CD 17, but i'm hoping it comes earlier. The wait seems harder on clomid!! Hoping for miracle here!

did finally arrive full force, so now I'm CD 3 and taking my Clomid CD 2-6. I think I've already got a case of "Clomid Crazies"! My moods have been all over the map today ; it's ridiculous.

lol... awww... just try to tell yourself you wont let the meds get the best of you..lol...i am happy to see that they just moved this thread... i hope 2-6 this cycle works for you!!! are you going to post your opk's and stuff i am so excited for you!!!i sooo hope that this will be YOUR MONTH!!

well this sounds great!!! Not only will you have many follicles, but several should mature, and you should almost defienetly have at least one dominant follicle maybe two.. Please keep us posted i am so interested in how many follicles and size... And so on from there...
