TTC after miscarriage.

Hi I'm new here, I have 4 children, and found out I was pregnant with my 5th last month, but sadly miscarried at 5 weeks on the 22nd November. I feel empty and numb, after 4 pregnancies I just didn't expect to ever miscarry. It was a complete miscarriage and I've since had a negative test. We have started TTC straight away again, from CM I'm guessing I ovulated around 6 days ago. I have been getting sharp left sided pains and on/off metallic taste in my mouth the same as last month. Has anyone else fallen pregnant straight after a miscarriage? K x

Hey. I’m still TTC after my MMC and D&C last month but my Dr. said It was possible to ovulate before my first AF so I would say it is definitely possible. I’ve also read many instances in forums where women were able to conceive immediately after MC.

I miscarried on November 10 (a Friday) by that Monday my hcg levels were back below 5. By the end of that same month I had multiple symptoms. I tested December 7th and got a bfp. did my blood work on the 8th. My hcg was 188 and my progesterone was 18. got my second set of blood work results and my hcg more than doubled. it was 1159. My first ultrasound is December 26th. It is VERY possible to conceive in the same exact month you miscarry. I think it just depends on how your cycle falls.

Hiya, so you got your BFP 4 weeks to the day? I'm glad everything is looking positive for you this time ❤️ I'm currently about 8dpo, having a lot of symptoms the same as I did last month, so holding out hope. I didn't have any bloods taken after my miscarriage, I had a internal u/s that was already booked in for the the thurs morning, and I miscarried the night before. My womb was empty, 4/12 a BFN and all my symptoms disappeared soon after my loss and have only just come back so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 X

I got my rainbow baby BFP exactly 4 weeks after a miscarriage. He'll be three in February.

Thank you for the replies, I have only just seen them! I got my BFP!! I am 5 weeks tomorrow, feeling nervous as I was exactly 5 weeks when I had my m/c last month. 🤞🏻 Xx
