Mrs W, I had my operation on Monday, surgeons said it was challenging given the nature of my uterus and the many polyps. Glad to have it over with. Now I've got AF, or what I assume is AF, but it's welcome, it already feels different than it normally does. I can cope with it this month.

tuesday, may I ask you how big was your fibroid? My scan did show some, but the doctor said in general we leave them unless they hurt or make your period heavy. I have one that is bigger than the others and I'm waiting for my actual doc to call me, and tell me what he thinks. So of course, now I'm all stressed about it and I googled stuff... it says it can cause infertility..

Lola, I had multiple polyps. Specialist has never seen that many inside, I'm not a normal case. Yes they can cause infertility and are most often removed to make way for the embryo. There is no way I could have got pregnant.

Post op consult not so good. I'm fine inside, can start trying again but probably not much point as DH's semen sample was so shit, 5% motility, he is doing another one today and hopefully it shows improvement otherwise guess what? It's IVF. A public wait list, that's a year. My dream of having 5 babies is gone. x

Tuesday I'm so sorry to hear about your ohs sperm results. Was the second sample any better? You guys are really going through it but I truly believe you'll get your rainbow baby and rainbow family even as you are so determined and being very proactive about your fertility. Will you go on the wait list for ivf or look at private? Thinking of you xx

so sorry to hear of your struggles, tuesday i am jealous, however, that your husband did the SA study so early in your TTC journey... we've been TTC for over 10 months now and my husband is VERY reluctant to get checked (mostly due to cost, but also due to the whole idea of obtaining an SA in an office somewhere...). we've had the order for about 3 months.

i'm on cycle #11. i suspect my ob/gyn will want the SA results before i schedule myself again, so i guess we'll have to come up with the $ to do the SA soon, especially now that i've seen what's going on with tuesday... *sigh*

anyone else have any interesting updates?
