Tubal Ligation Side Effects?

I am trying to make an informed decision on whether or not I should have my tubes tied after I have this baby. I am having a section, so it would all be done at once. I was dead set on having it done, but then after doing some research on it, I have been reading so many horror stories from women that have been having all these bad side effects!

Please, anyone that has had it done let me know how it went for you. I have been hearing about changes in periods i.e. being longer and more painful, mood swings, hot flashes, cold chills, hormonal issues, hair loss, and so many other things!

Any and all stories/opinions are welcome!

If you will go through for a ligation you should consult with a good doctor.
