Usually works ... Maybe something new like hamsters doing cartwheels?!
Did anyone read this:
found the article.

now thats where they are underhand.
I am sorry If I get in trouble for this
Crossroads I have seen your thread about having trouble with Bf
I really think you need to try alot harder with Bfeeding your baby if you hate formula so much
Infact worry about that instead of posting unhelpful comments on this thread
I completely agree with you. That's why I am still, to this day, breastfeeding. My baby's needs come before my own.
Its always the same it boils down to ffeeding mums being selfish, same old same old
I hope you never have to post a thread in the ffeeding section again cos I am not sure what sort of response you would get after this thread

If my milk ever dries up I'll have to use formula milk. There is no other choice.
BF > FF > starving.
I think we're all in agreement there.
Dare yaUsually works ... Maybe something new like hamsters doing cartwheels?!
A pic of my hubby nude would soon stop the debate!!

It was previously thought that pics of kittens would cheer people up!!
Has anyone of you that breastfeeds actualy looked at the advice given on their website or requested any of their leaflets and fact sheets?
It is the same stuff as the midwife gave me so how are they giving false info to manipulate and con people into failing to breastfeed and turn them over to ff???
If anyone makes important decisions on things such as breastfeeding just because they are "influanced" by an advert rather then using their brains then I feel sorry for them.
Cant this just be droped now, the website and advice is there for people who want to use it or look at it and if you dont want to use it or dont need it then move on.
Haha Sam.. bet he'd love that.
I suggest everyone youtubes 'baby lemon' - bound to put a smile on your face!
Personally, i don't think artificial feeding should be easily promoted to pregnant women, or be easily available. I believe deterring people from artificial feeding from the moment they are pregnant, whether that be no advertising etc would encourage alot more Mum's to just give it a go. Artificial feeding is too easily available these days, and these companies know that.
They make no money from breastfeeding
As a parent of 2 girls who I formula fed I resent referring to my choice as 'artificial' feeding, it's called cow and gate on the box not artificial. "My names Charlene and I feed my babies with cow and gate milk formula".
I never understand why people freely throw around comments like this among others, maybe if breastfeeding advice/support was easily available these days to every new Mum that would help and when it isn't thank goodness there is another option available. People talk like parents are thick and so gullible we're going to see an advert on TV or a poster and think YES thats what I will do because the TV says so, there are 2 options, it's very simple and it every parents right to make a choice of either and it's nobody else's right to slam either option taken.
For whoever asked Mums if they thought formula should be on offer, I never say no to saving money regardless of what it is, anything I don't spend 90% of the time goes on my girls anyway but general no I don't think it should be.
