Dragonfly- the reason people are pissed off is because you keep bringing up the word artifical! Just stop saying it and no one will be offended!!

I dont use that word it was in the copy and paste. Maybe I should censor my stuff before I post . wouldnt want to offend. ?

I only pointed it out as some said they never seen it said before. Not meant in a nasty way and again I dont say artificial its just formula.

was that to my who code post? it was to post why things where not advertised. But never mind some seemed to have missed that one and went right to missiles.

I think for some people say formula is 'artifical' is upsetting just like i think saying that people who had a c-section had an 'artifical birth' would also be upsetting.

If we are using the word 'artifical' literially then you would have to class c-section as 'artifical' - its not nice.

I think people are missing my point!!! I would never use that term, no one does I don't think. I'd say formula milk. I am GENUINELY curious and no one has stated properly why it is upsetting ... for those of us that don't find it offensive, it feels a bit odd to be censoring what we say without fully understanding what it is about it that is upsetting? Why is it not nice? Why is it upsetting? I really want to know

Also, YOu are expecting individuals to censor what they say, which makes total sense, why would anyone deliberately want to upset anyone else. But it doesn't make sense if we don't understand why we are censoring ourselves if you know what I mean?

My point about the petition was .... It is NOT a term that most people use generally, individually. But if it is a medical term, or an official term, why should the authorities get away with using it? Fine, we can censor ourselves individually, no problem. What's the use of doing that, and of continually sniping at each other individually, if the wider authorities are still using it?

I know its going round in circles! I like being dizzy lol. For some reason I feel I really want it resolved lol (though it probably would never be).

The only thing that upsets me is I didnt get to feel him coming out and I think that stopped the bonding in someways but it was a small price to pay for us still being here

Maybe in the distant future C sections will be really artifical and done by robots

Granted its not nice, I never use the term but someone saying it wouldnt offend me I have a thicker skin than that. I wouldnt go around saying artificial birth for c section myself but I wouldnt be bothered if any one said it. And I didnt actually say artificial birth just to clarify just I wouldn't be offended but everyone takes things differently. I think if them words offend and they are not banned or anything some should develop maybe a thicker skin.

Ha ha, I bf my daughter until she was 13 months old and will let her relactate if she wants when this baby comes (my milk dried up) - but I get it!
