Hi girls!
Long story short, I think i just had my positive this morning at 7 dpo.
I had an early MC at 6 weeks in April and I never bled since. Had a positive OPK last week, took a test just out of curiosity this morning and wow, the line appeared within a minute. Took another just to make sure it's not an evap or a fault and second test showed same line.
My question is, is there anything I should take/do to prevent this pregnancy ending again? :( I'm scared to get my hopes up and want to do everything in my power to keep everything normal.
Maybe there are specific vitamins i should be taking? I already take Pregnacare.
TIA

I'm sorry for your previous loss. I'm afraid that there's no answer to your question. No one really knows why women have chemicals or early miscarriages, we can only assume that there are chromosome/developmental issues, so it's just nature's way of dealing with it. If there was a magic pill that we could all take, then there would be a very rich person out there right now and this TTC section wouldn't have half the ladies in it, we'd all be happliy in the trimester sections! I know how you feel though - I too had a chem in Feb and then a miscarriage at 6 weeks last cycle. You are doing all you can by taking Pregnacare, you've just got to let nature take its course. All the best of luck to you for a sticky bean. xxxx

Diddo what Jen said. There's nothing you can do or avoid to prevent a MC but just do everything you can for a healthy pg, plenty of water, avoid caffeine/sodas, take extra folic acid and omega 3, prenatals from raw whole foods are a better quality vitamin and healthier for you and baby vs synthetic vitamins. Keep active, eat plenty of fruit/vegetables. Good luck!
