'if it hasn't happened yet, why would it happen this month?' and 'seriously, I'm never going to get pregnant'' and all of those nasty things that I try so hard not to tell myself, but I fail miserably sometimes. Oh well, keep on keepin' on... I of course will not give up! I need to be a Mommy! lol.

so its my first cycle really using opks. I got what I considered + on CD 12/13. ewcm on CD14 15 thinking i ovulated CD14/15 today is CD 18...so I will cal myself 3/4dpo!!! and in the TWW... I am skeptical about my opks/ability to interpret so BD everyother day still just in case !!!

Sounds like you have given the little eggy all the chance you can now it's just up to those little swimmers!!

I think we all feel like that sometimes, it just goes with the territory I guess.
When ever you have a goal that is so important (and also quite hard as it is not entirely in your control!) it's just human to have moments when it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The good news is that it only lasts a while and then you realise that it WILL happen and feel positive again.

In the meantime, consider yourself hugged!!

Help!!!! I'm near the end of my TWW & usually AF is early! Been having mild cramps off & on for about 3 days... Well today I thought for sure was the day AF would show up & when i wipe its like specs of red streaks & that's it. They are a little dark but barely enough to notice!! Is it to early to test?

Hi Posey! Sorry to hear you've been feeling down about TTC. I think we all go through that when it takes longer than expected. I know I still have days like that, even with DH's positivity. I'm glad you're not giving up though! It will happen for us and then we'll look back at this whole TTC journey and know it was worth it.

Symptom spotting is always fun...I can't wait until I'm back in the TWW. I get that sensation after ov every month, so now I ignore it...well, as much as I can. I can't help but feel hopeful when it happens.

But, if it's a new symptom for you, maybe that means that something good is going on down below! Keeping my fingers crossed for stretching uterus and implantation!! Keep us updated, Katie!

Hi Gemmy - trying to keep up but been really, really sick. Have lower UTI, kidney infection & sinus infection (still from 3 wks ago). Had to do u/s - poss kidney stones. SO, they said I should try find out asap if BFP bc preg & kidney infection not good - gets complicated, but can do something about it if I "knew". Testing last 2 days & BFN. Only on CD11 tho.

My little sisters (who I never get to see) are in town for Spring Break & I can't do any fun Spring Break-ish activities w/them . Had so much fun stuff planned too (beach parties, club scene, etc). They didn't wanna leave me all sick like this (fever, nausea, vomiting, lower UTI symptoms, really sharp pain in left side + sinus crap). I know you know what sinus infection is like - it lingers for weeks! But I made them go out to South Beach tonight (Miami) & told them be back by 10am . Its #2 spot in the world for Spring Break.

I'm so bummed. I was so looking forward to relive the Spring Break scene w/the sisters, as I am hoping this would be my "last chance" at a Spring Break hurrah due to family next year (FX) Its just such a blast to people watch - wild kids, crazy contests, media, radio stations hosting live events in the streets, etc. Feeling sorry for myself last couple days & now AF acne (the late 30's kind) started , so...not having the greatest week . End Rant.

Dashka – how are you? What DPO are you now – keeping FX for you You need a chart so I can stalk it! Maybe one day you can start an “All-Natural, Holistic TTC” journal & put that wealth of knowledge of yours in there? I’d stalk that for sure!

Gemmy – Also wanted to tell you I liked your comment about being sick last time you got BFP. I’ve heard a LOT of people say they were sick in 2ww when they ended up finding out they’re preg! The sicky-poos on this thread (& there are a lot) need that kind of hope – thanks!

Posey – oh, honey. I know its so hard & your situation makes even more stressful to TTC ASAP! Prayers & coming your way.

T2BC – YES, OPKs are much less expensive than IVF!!! Get on that & chart, if you aren’t already (www.fertilityfriend.com). You’d be surprised at all the new/great things you are going to learn & makes you feel like you are “doing everything you can” at least. So glad DH is “coming around”. I think a few of us had that little revelation recently w/DH’s! Don’t worry, I’ve been “on it” since Jan 2011 & my DH only last month actually “participated” in ov (somewhat) I got accused of wanting DH just “for his body” & “for his seed” too (lol). I said “yup, you’re right”. That ended that one. Good luck to you!

I FINALLY started back to my reiki circle this past week, so I wrote Dashka, Posey & Laura's names on piece of paper, put the "long distance healing" symbol on it & put it in the middle (folded over for privacy) so that when we send LD healing at the end of the session, the energy would go to you guys from all of us.

So, if you ever suddenly feel really relaxed or really good on a Wed night at "about" 9pm EST thats the healing energy "ki" coming your way! (rei="God" + ki="energy")

But if anyone else wants in, let me know & I'll add your names

ohhh poor you - you have had it rough. Really sweet of you to insist they went though and wow spring break sounds a lot of fun, we don't get that much excitment in the UK unfortunately. Well I hope that you get that bfp and can let them know!! Now you never know that acne could be pregnancy related!! I truely hope so.

Yes I am hanging i there. Had a break from b n b for a day (well not including the evening but almost a day ) and felf better to keep busy. No tests today or yesterday. I am doing my digi in the morning if no witch has arrived!!! I will be 12dpo tomorrow. Last month I spotted on 11dpo and she kicked in on 12dpo so I am not all that confident - I feel a bit of a stomach ache which is kinda witch like. Still not out. Chart is ok. Major headaches but maybe the sinus probs still - yes it's lingering.

Well you keep updating how amazing would it be if we both got our bfp. But writing that seems to good to be true. Good luck and I hope you feel a whole lot better soon and that you get your bfp tomorrow. Could you add me to your reiki? Needs some positivity! Thanks honey - GL xxxxx

Good evening ladies!

Had such a crappy day today. Had to work all day and have been sick with an upper respiratory tract infection and laryngitis all week. Then I had to go out to my sister's tonight to help set some things up for my other sister's stag and doe next weekend and my sister was a HUGE bitch! She was so rude and talks down to me about my pregnancy. Like I said my doctor said I couldn't take anything for my URTI and she said "Well, I don't believe that because we have the same doctor and he never said that to me." She pisses me off so much! She acts so holier than thou. She fell pregnant on her honeymoon and has a beautiful baby girl. She didn't have an easy pregnancy, but she has no idea what it's like to actually try to conceive and then lose a baby and then get pregnant again. Ugh!

Sorry - rant over!

Any predictions on if I'm having a boy or girl? Everyone else thinks it's a boy, but I feel like it's a girl.

Then I had to go out to my sister's tonight to help set some things up for my other sister's stag and doe next weekend and my sister was a HUGE bitch! She was so rude and talks down to me about my pregnancy. Thanks LilSluz! Yeah, my doctor told me that I could only have lemon and honey and tea! Crazy! My sister kept telling me to take Tylenol Cold and Sinus and I looked at a box at the pharmacy and it clearly says "Do not take while pregnant!"

I'm doing pretty good. AF is GONE! Woohoo! Got out today and enjoyed the sunshine while DH did his thing. I managed to get a break last night from the daily BD. We'll see if we take tomorrow off or not. But, on the bright side, 7 days straight seems much more manageable. lol.

I am drawn towards girl now because you have been quite sicky during the 1st trimester! I am not usually very good at predictions though

We're pretty excited! My sister is being a royal pain in the ass again today. She keeps openly questioning me about things like she's trying to prove that I'm lying or something. Why would I lie about what my doctor said? Why would I lie about wanting to find out the sex of the baby? She's so ridiculous. She hasn't supported my pregnancy at all though since the attention's not entirely on her for once. Bah!

Had such a crappy day today. Had to work all day and have been sick with an upper respiratory tract infection and laryngitis all week. Then I had to go out to my sister's tonight to help set some things up for my other sister's stag and doe next weekend and my sister was a HUGE bitch! She was so rude and talks down to me about my pregnancy. Like I said my doctor said I couldn't take anything for my URTI and she said "Well, I don't believe that because we have the same doctor and he never said that to me." She pisses me off so much! She acts so holier than thou. She fell pregnant on her honeymoon and has a beautiful baby girl. She didn't have an easy pregnancy, but she has no idea what it's like to actually try to conceive and then lose a baby and then get pregnant again. Ugh!

Any predictions on if I'm having a boy or girl? Everyone else thinks it's a boy, but I feel like it's a girl.

I keep thinking it's a girl too! I don't know why. It's just a feeling I have!!

I am drawn towards girl now because you have been quite sicky during the 1st trimester! I am not usually very good at predictions though

In the grand scheme of things, I haven't been too bad. I've been sick periodically and have been very nauseous, but I've only thrown up about 10 times total. I've gagged a lot though. The backache is killing me this week!
