Lil-what is the scoop with yours and DH's test results? Can you share?
AFM, I am on CD 7 and in a great mood! I had an HSG today and my tubes are all clear!!!Yippeee!!!
That is such a relief. And DH had another sperm analysis, and it came out fabulous!!
Another relief. So I am really hoping this is the cycle for our BFP. I am taking Clomid CD 5-9, and hoping to do an IUI this cycle. I am so excited. I feel like my BFP is just around the corner.
Babydust to everyone and welcome to the newbies!!!
Wendy that's GREAT news!

Sorry I know I promised to post test results - I've been so busy! I have clotting problems due to a compound heterozygous MTHFR gene mutation one copy of the gene mutation C677T & one copy of the gene mutation A1298C. (You can probably imagine the word that came to my mind after seeing the acronym! - so immature, I know but thats what Im calling it

So, on a list of severity its #2 out of 5 mutations or combinations thereof. I dont have elevated cysteine (thank God) but I have elevated thrombosis antigen (again, clotting, so makes sense). Here is what it says:
What Are the Implications?
Any and all of the mutations can affect homocysteine levels, but there is much dispute as to whether elevated homocysteine levels are actually needed in order for MTHFR to cause medical complications. Many other MTHFR patients have normal homocysteine levels; yet have had implantation problems, m/c(s), and/or stillbirth(s) due to clotting problems. This is a serious field and MTHFR is a serious condition, so consulting an expert is wise.
All you have to do to fix this serious mutation 5mg folate/folic acid (Rx its 12x normal dose), extra B6, extra B12 & baby aspirin. Thats it

Please excuse long post but hoping this may ring a bell with someone else & can help them whether TTC or already preg? Also better to take a lot more if advanced age.
