temp is still up today. 98.1. And last night after the hubby came home from work my back, more specifically my lower back, just started aching pretty bad. I'm hoping that was more with implantation since I had that light brown discharge on the to. Fingers crossed. But yeah today bbs are just tender, can feel very dull cramps more on right side, I also took another 3 hour nap. Now I'm craving potatoes (right now im having scalloped pots and fried taters) and sprite! Yum!

Ahhh! The wait is killing me!!! Fingers crossed!!!!

My doc says you can get a false negative HPT but never a false positive HPT... .

Unfortunately this isn't true. I was in the ER in December thinking I was having a mc because I'd gotten TWO Clearblue POSITIVES (2 days in a row)...after blood test and sonogram was done, they told me I'd never been pg to begin with (despite late AF and TWO positive digital HPTs)... the doctor said she'd worked as an OBGYN prior to coming to ER, so I believed her when she said that the tests could have been stored in a hot truck or...any number of other causes that cause tests to say + when really they're not...

I'm not saying this is the case for you -- you've used two different KINDS of tests, so I'm sure you're golden. Congrats! ...just wanted to share...it is possible. And disappointing!

I was going to say the same thing....There are more women than you'd think on BnB that have gotten false positives from blue dye tests. They think they're pg only to find out that it was some kind of evap with color or faulty test. There are whole threads dedicated to this around here. And there are also certain medical conditions that can cause false positives too. Hasn't happened to me, but it sounds so heartbreaking.

The digi is pretty concrete proof of preg and the cause of much happiness around here...but I'm with Dani. You can have false negatives and false positives...

The hubby works tonight and I had to work a triple today so no bd'ing for us but we have on and off for the past two weeks and I o'd yesterday or the day before according to opk and my ewcm so hopefully everything works out! We will see what my temp is like tomorrow they have been so off the wall this week! In not sure though because this is my second bout of ewcm so who knows what's going on! Only time will tell!!! Fx

AFM, I am 8dpo, spotted some brown creamy CM today, and my temp shot up from 98.6 to 99.0. I really, really hope that means implantation, but from experience I know not to count on any symptoms. We will see!
Also having light cramping, and a major headache last night and this morning.

I really hope this is it. The spotting has stopped, and I have heartburn right now, which is unusual for me, and earlier today I had a jumpy stomach and was totally gagging. That is weird, too. Hanging on to hope.....

In Jan I did not get a positive OPK until CD22. Then in March I ovd on CD11!!
So this month I start OPKs on CD5 - finally I get a positive on this evening (neg this morning) - CD20!!! WTH!

Great - EXCEPT - DH is away tonight and tomorrow night!!

I had a feeling that this would happen so we did BD last night.

Do you think we still have a chance this month?

I know how you feel....but of course you have a chance! Those sperm will be right there waiting for the egg when it drops. The month I finally caught the egg, I had only BD'd 3 days before ov...so there's always hope!

They can live up to 5 days, so two should be just fine. I hope you catch the egg this month!!

DBZ, thank you. I know we all know the spermys live on but sometimes you just have to hear someone else say it to stop you turning into a crazy person. So I guess as of tomorrow I will be in the TWW!! (temp dropped again this morning)

Good luck t2bc - there is sure to be a chance -fx for you! It's so annoying when o is inconsistent and even more with no opportunity to bd. Will you bd in 3 days as it will probably be worth it as well. GL and FX for you this month.

Wendy I am due 5th may (sat) and will try to not test until that weekend. Got to get through this weekend first. FX for you! Yes it's hard to get excited by the small things which give you hope like temps and hopefully ib when previous months those same things have turned out to be not the bfp you were hoping for, but take each month as it comes - that definately sounds hopeful, really praying for you!

Jessica - I would be really surprised now if you were not pregnant! Can't wait to see your test results Totally FX for you, yea for all those positive symptoms

Hey ladies can any one look at my chart and advice??!! Ff gave me dotted crosshairs this morning on cd14 and puts me at 6dpo?! Im not complaining but is this likely? I was expecting cd17 to be ov and to be 3po. To me the swoop and rise on cd18 would do it but lol i just look at the pattern i dont get the technical jargon, can any one advice??

I am not very well versed in these charts (I only managed the first 5 of the million lessons!)
But - it matches your positive OPK - and you did BD so looks good to me!
Only time will tell I guess.

Yup! Baby D is a little banana now! She was kicking me so much yesterday! It's such an amazing feeling!!

The spotting and the heartburn are major indicators! The only time I have ever had spotting was with my first pregnancy and I've had heartburn throughout this entire one.

Really! I had a miscarriage the cycle before, so we had no idea when I was going to ovulate and I got pregnant just BD-ing 3 days before ovulation!

Hi ladies, it has been a while. Just wanted to update you, we saw the RE yesterday. It was very encouraging, he examined my hubby and I throughly, went over all our labwork, etc. He says he thinks DH has a vericocele, is sending him for an ultrasound, but that may/may not be the 'cause' of the 0% morphology problem (he says because his counts are excellent as motility is fairly good, usually it affects those too?). Anyways, says that even if it's repaired, there's only a 15% chance of that helping the morph problem, so not really holding on to hope there. However, he did an ultrasound on me, said 'you have stacks of eggs, like the Easter bunny' (haha). I checked out healthy, it's just the hubby's morph problem, really. He stared us straight in the face after all the exams and said '0% morphology does not mean you cannot get pregnant on your own, please understand this'...to which we both almost cried, haha. He says he's been 'doing this for 25 years, and he'll have ppl with 0%morph booked for treatments who cancel becasue they fall pregnant'. He went on to say that if we do opt for treatments, that we're great candidates. Obviously it's harder for us to conceive naturally, but not impossible, and if it doesn't work we can try treatments... so overall, great news. Hubby's going for an ultrasound, me for an HSG, then we'll form a plan.

Hello Everyone!! I'm new on this and am in my 2WW, 12dpiu. I took a test early this morning at 2AM and got my BFN...very discouraging and i cried my heart out. Is it still early to test? I know they say to wait until 14 days, do the 2 days really change anything?

Hi Kismat! Welcome to the TWW!

12 DPO isn't very early to test, but it does depend on the length of your luteal phase. Mine is usually 12 days, so it's late for me, but some people have long LPs, so 12 DPO could be considered early.

At any rate, eggs can implant at 12DPO and if that was the case, it wouldn't show up on a test until at least 14 DPO, if not more, so the two days would matter then.

I don't know what will happen, but I hope that you get your BFP soon!

I think maybe it will change it again when you have a few more temps. If you take out the pos opk, does that change anything? It does look like CD17 is ov day to me though...

Thank you DBZ34...any words right now are helpful, especially since this is my first 2WW...i'm learning as i go through this. how do you know how long your luteal phase is? my periods are very irregular. but for a year i tracked them before we started IUI and they were 30 to 31 days long.

picked up my FRER just now! Still have errands to runbut boy do I have to pee! Had cramping and lower backache last night! I haven't drank anything yet either (even tho I'm drying of thirst and dry mouth) just do my hcg isn't diluted! I'll let you ladies know soon! CMON BFP!!!!

well took my FRER....sadly it was a bfn but I still have hope and faith, plus maybe since it wasn't my morning pee...afterall its only been 2 days since I spotted....maybe I just need more time to register hcg.
