Hi, I've heard that with IVF if you test too soon you could get a false positive from the trigger shot you take before retrieval. But I've heard a lot of people testing after one week and getting their bfp. You could test every morning to see if the line gets darker but that will probably drive you crazy. I on the other hand would have 50 ic to poas every morning and probably nights to. Lol

So today i realized that my bbt thermometer is going crazy. If it works right then it will give you:
*your last temp
* then 97.70
* then LO

Now mine is giving me:
*my last temp
*LO
*97.70
* and then some random temp ( example: 90.53) from what it starts to climb up without me even touching my bbt therm.

Just tested it.. charted temp came 97.73, 1 min later without moving or doing anything charted again and temp was 98.25 ...grrr, now i have no idea what is going on with my cycle.

I do not trust my low temps ...could my battery be empty?? HELP!

IceQueen86: buy a new one ASAP!!! Or a new battery I guess, but that wouldn't be as dramatic....As far as which temp to trust, I'd go with the first one you took, at least you can be more consistent that way....Sorry one more frustrating thing happened....

I will try a new battery and if that don't fix it then i will buy a new therm. Always something gosh! 97.73 and 98.25 aren't my morning temps, i was just curious to see what my temp was in the evening and then i discovered that my therm. is tripping. Who knows how long it's been doing that.

What's going on with you? Do you think you O'd? Looks like your chart is kinda confusing too ...

I have used the OPK for 6 days finally on day 7 i got my first posititve reading yesterday at noon, but my temp spiked (+3) this morning weird and I took another OPK this morning at 8:30 and it was still positive but both lines were not as dark as yesterdays but it was still a clear +. I am going to use another one at 1 or 2 and see if it's still +. But does this mean I O'd yesterday.....

IceQueen86: oh...I got it....But you're right, how long your term has been wrong?! That's a bummer....Hopefully it's been consistently wrong, so that the change in temp is still valid.

AFM, I was SO ANGRY yesterday with my temp!! When the first temp dip happened, I was like "it could be the famous implantation dip!!" but then a second low temp the following day made me think this is an annovulatory cycle. So I got very angry at my body and the universe for doing this to me. DH even picked up on my mood and we had a nice, long chat about TTC'ing. We'll make a few changes from now on to increase our chances. At this point I'm considering myself out this month....

zeropatience - I have no idea how long my therm has been tripping, because i chart 5am and the room is dark then so i didn't know anything was wrong. But today i decided to use my alarm clock light when i turned it off and guess what, my therm. was working fine again, exactly how it supposed to. I went back to sleep, few hours later decided to try again and once again it was working perfectly.

And now when i start thinking about my low temps in LP, i think it could have been because of a huge room temp. difference. These days i opened my window and had 3 ac's in full speed in my face, when i woke up i was feeling cold even under the blanket LOL. I guess we will see what my next temps will be ...

Your temp spike today is great! Keeping my FX that your temps will stay up, so we can find out if and when you O'd. I think cd12 or cd18.

20yearslater - i tried to look at your chart but nothing happens when i click on it It's possible that you O'd yesterday, did you have any fertile CM or any O pain/ pinching? We have to see what your next 2 day temps will do, if they stay up then you did O. Keep BDing just in case! FX!

Mine does the same thing. If it gives me the random temp, I turn it off and then back on and it goes to LO.

And as for the temp change, that also happens to me. I watch my temp when I take it though and sometimes, it seems like the thermometer is going up a little slowly and there's a temp time limit (so it stops on whatever temp it hits at the time limit)...If I think it might be higher, I temp again and it usually is. I go with the second temp, because the thermometer was so slow the first time. And on those occasions, I might temp a third time and it usually is around the same as the second temp.

I think my thermometer is just kind of old, but it's still working and the temps seem to correctly correspond with my cycle, so I don't worry about it.

Hey ladies, I'm currently on cd31 and waiting for either ovulation or AF!! Don't know when AF will come but had 2 cycles of 48 days long and given up on temping as I think it was stressing me out. If I'm not preggers come Sept then I'm having another chat with consultant at work and will hopefully start clomid to finally stimulate ovaries!!!

I've been reading the posts from Page 1 since my 4dpo (today's my 9dpo) and now am on Page 471 lol... it has helped a lot in keeping me sane during this torturous TWW...
I'm definitely a POAS addict and this time round I started testing on 4dpo of course BFN what did I expect really...
Trying very hard to be patient but it's not easy...
Love all your posts and they sure help make time pass a little quicker

I just got day 3 of a +OPK - I was like WTH - my cervex has already shifted low (yesterday) and yesterday was day 2 of positive. -.-

Although I am quite happy at my temps, they finally sored through the roof, well my roof anyhow.

DH & I are still BDing we don't want to miss the chance.

Hi ladies, I am 13dpo and period is due today and last night i woke up with the worst period pain in the morning and my hubby was out.... lol *bless him*. But no period today, i have a dull pain in my very low right abdomen, boobies, swollen and a little tender. otherwise i feel okay, like i am gonna get my period... Feel luck i have ladies to chat to abt this

will someone check my chart out please? this is first month of chart, 3rd month trying, I am cd 21, have no flipping clue if and when I ovulated, my DH is saying that hes only good for BDing and that's all I care about, AHHHHH this whole TTC thing is getting me depressed, I hate not knowing whats going on with my body. I thought my DH would be excited to BD all the time but he says im taking the fun out of it. I will test of 7/23 and pray its BFP, heading to the beach in 3 weeks and the unkown is driving me BONKERS. HELP!! btw I have excessive creamy CM currently ( don't no what that's about either)

Sorry sugar, it looks like you were gearing up but still haven't Od yet.
Keep taking your temp, maybe keep peeing on a stick as well to see if you are still getting the LH surge.

I agree with 20yearslater. Your body geared up to O but for some reason it didn't happen. Keep very close eye on your CM, if it gets watery or stretchy then start your BD marathon. Do you know how long were your previous cycles? Hopefully it's not going to be an anovulatory cycle for you and you are just gonna O late. I ovulate late, the earliest for me has been CD24 and the latest was CD36. Don't give up hope yet.
