Welcome to the 'Two Week Wait'

OPK- is ovulation Prediction Kits- You POAS from mid cycle till you get a positive for 2-3 days than 12-48 hours after a positive test, you ovulate. And using a basal temp is the only thing that works for me to confirm ovulation happened. Did you have spotting those 2 days or 2 days of bright red blood?

Ice- I think that HIPPA is government assisted.... Why cant you get that?? There has to be help out there for you.. Ill do some looking around too, as Ella is!!

Because i'm still waiting for my stupid papers :growlmad: It looks like i'll be moving away from here before i get them *rolling eyes*

I called one hospital to ask how much would be prenatal care if self-pay, they said every appointment you pay 2000 usd until you reach 10 000usd - that's ONLY for prenatal care LMAO! What a joke, they lost their minds! :D

And thank you girls you are so helpful :hugs::hugs:

I want you all to get your bfp's now so we could all be pregnant together!

ICE sorry you are having such a hard time with finding health care here!

Hopefully things will work out :) Have to stay positive :)

I'm feeling great, my mild on and off cramps stopped but my BB are super painful, i visit my bathroom too much LOL and if i get up super fast i get a bit dizzy. Had a nausea wave 2 times but it could have been because of the heat, who knows :D

How you doing? Is you nausea gone?

Bright red the 1st day, not as bright the 2nd day. This morning it just stopped.

Yep have to stay positive

Sounds like first tri symptoms are starting to kick in for you lol... I'm very uncomfortable these days...haven't had nausea since beginning of second tri. But heartburn, ligament pain, and tired because not sleeping well at all! And achy knuckles "pregnancy carpel tunnel" oh the joys of pregnancy! But its all so very worth it!

I am currently 9dpo and going test crazy - maybe 3 per day and all BFN not suprisingly! Cant stop thinking about that BFP. Good luck to all

Good luck to you too Ivy and you better calm down or you're going to run out before you really need them!

I certainly hope so...it feels like we have been trying forever. I'll keep you posted.

Mimzy - i put my text for you in the spoiler, don't want to upset other women here ...

So when i told you that i have had 2 nausea waves probably from the heat, gosh i woke up just now today and i'm SUPER nauseous. I hoped to be one of these women who won't get any nausea. Oh it sucks lol
Poor you it sounds like you are being tortured :D Are you prepeared for the birth? I was watching this show looks like UK show ''one born every minute'' they show women going through labor. It didn't look very bad, one thing i learned from it was when it's time to push then you have to put all your energy on pushing (in silents) and not screaming :D And another thing i never knew, was that when women said their labor lasted 21 hours i thought they were pushing that long LMAO! Yes you are allowed to laugh at me LOL!!!
I wanted to know that did you get NT scan/screening at 12 weeks? If i get to the doc, i don't know if i should get it ...

Ivy- I know its hard to not POAS but sometimes it causes more disappointment if the Af shows up..(I learned hard way) . I will KMFX for you!!:af:

holy crap yeah that's absurd... Im quite certain that you will get insurance threw Hippa..... When I didn't have insurance my first apt it was 86$ for office visit and 273$ for vaginal ultrasound.(7 1/2 weeks) Maybe call around, You only have to go 1nce a month until your last few months. That's a bummer your starting to get sick, hopefully yours is a SHORT phase. I got sick for 4 months DAILY and landed in hospital because I was loosing weight. SO EAT EAT EAT!!! :winkwink: It is absolutely worth it although it can get TERRIBLE. My best gf just found out she was pregnant and shes 16 weeks. She was still breastfeeding so she thought it was normal, she got NO symptoms or signs. Shes sad shes pregnant. In my head im thinking, that should be ME because I want this so bad. But that's just how it goes. I have SUPER high hopes that this month I WILL conceive. Will be month 5 TTC and I think since I actually know my body regulated I FINALLY know when I ovulate. Anways Feel better and I will TALK TO YOU ALL SOON. I will get on tonight before I leave for beach to check up.. :hugs:

Implantation can happen anywhere from 6 to 12 days past ovulation but is usually few drops or blood, or very little spotting. But that doesn't mean that's the same with everyone. After doing research I read its actually rare to get implantation but it does happen. (I didn't with all 3 of my pregnancy's) How long are your cycles normally?? I really hope you get a :bfp: that way you and Ice can send all your baby vibes our way :happydance: How long have you been TTC??

I don't know how to do a spoiler so I apologize ladies if I upset anyone! :hugs: But nausea is a good sign that your HCG levels are increasing  I'm prepared as I think I can be, of course everyones labor is so very different so we never know whats in store for us! but I've done a TON of reading and I'm not letting anyone put in my head fear and scary birth stories, need to keep it all positive. As for the testing we did no elective testing. We are going to keep our baby regardless so it was pointless to even worry ourselves over a chance of getting a result saying.. u have a 1 and blah blah chance of having a child with this disorder then be worried the whole preg and then baby is fine. which I've known to happen to couples. Feel free to message me any questions you might have. I'm here to help you along this journey as you helped me along my TCC journey!!! :hugs:

Ladies,
My first fertility appointment is tomorrow, and DH and I have to drive 3.5 hours to another town to make it. So, we're leaving today, having dinner at a great pizzeria, staying overnight, dropping off the dog at doggie day care, going to Trader Joe's tomorrow, having a light lunch then heading to the appointment.
We wanted to surround the appointment with happy things we love, to help us get through the day. It was DH's idea - he's super worried about it.
I wanted to ask for all your good and positive thoughts for us!! This forum has helped me so much, I thought I'd reach out today and ask for some much needed good vibes. Thank you SO much!!!
:dust: to all of you!!

How did your appointment go? I have my first one on Fri 16th :)

Omg really, i hope my morning sickness is not gonna get so bad, can't afford to hang out in the hospital :D
What a way to find out you are pregnant, 16 weeks ... she should feel blessed even tho she didn't plan that baby. I have super high hopes for you too, keep thinking positive that will attract positive energy and things your way, and RELAX very very important if you want to conceive!
By the way i found here one obgyn office who takes only 2500 usd for prenatal care.

Today is a beach day yaaaaaaay! Have fun! :happydance:

Mimzy - You can put your text to spoiler when you click reply, and this white part here where you type your message, on top of that you see letter symbols and on the right side you see 1 yellow smiley face with a black thing over it's eyes. Click on that, two spoiler things come to this white space and then you just have to write your text between these 2 spoiler things :)

Good that you have so great and positive attitude about the labor ;) Always positive. I think women who let themselves to be scared and think negative will have more difficult labor. A human mind is a strong thing.
If i will happen to have any questions i will make sure to get advice from a baby expert Mimzy heheheee :friends:

My cycles usually are around 29-35 days. I hope I get a BFP as well. I will send good vibes your way. DH and I have been trying for about a year. How about you?

TTCBabyisom, LovingMyGirls, dovkav123, and Ice: thank you for the good luck wishes and support! I had you all from this forum in mind and it helped so much!!!

MummyDonz: here's how my appointment went.

It was OK. I was very nervous but my doctor didn't acknowledge or asked how I was feeling, and I didn't bring it up either. He went straight to business. I wish he had at least asked if I was concerned about something specific, or how I was doing, but once I realized that's how he rolled I was OK with it. I just had to ask about anything I wanted to know 'cause he wasn't going to bring it up.
So, he asked about my medical history, and how my periods were. Since we'd been trying for a year and not succeeded, he'd order blood tests and exams to see how things were working. He send me right away to get a vaginal ultrasound done and he did a gynecological examination. He saw that the lining in my uterus is uneven and that my left ovary is too close to the uterus, so he suspected of scarring. So, he said I'll do an HSG between CD5-CD12 (but before ovulation) to get a better look and that will give the cause of these issues. I'll also do a comprehensive blood test on CD2.
DH did an SA and the lab tech took a quick peek and said "It looks good". He was so relieved! That was very good news!
That was it. I'll keep you posted on how the HSG goes, which will probably be in about 1 1/2 week.

Of course there's still a chance I'm pregnant now and this is all irrelevant! Wouldn't that be great?! I'll test on Wed, 12DPO. But, since the doc saw those irregularities with my uterus I'm guessing it's unlikely. I don't want to get my hopes up. I'll just go about my business as if I'm not preggo and I'll test Wed and see.

Sorry for the super long post! This forum and you ladies have been an invaluable support system for me. I can't thank you enough!!!

I forgot to mention that my doctor doesn't believe in temp'ing. He said I could stop with it, unless I like doing it. He said to use OPKs and when I get a positive BD that day and the day after - no need to BD every other day for a week...Again, his words, not mine....
