Wait to see what the doctor says, but in the meantime, my cousin's husband has "lazy swimmers" & she swore by preseed. I just saw your chart & looks like you are dipping, so you may actually be able to squeeze that in this cycle? Oh, I'm keeping everythin crossed for you honey - you've had it so rough the last couple of years & you are so young :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Beaut - booo on AF!!!! Mine will be coming soon too. Yeah, its amazing all the "symptoms" you get when TTC - makes it hard. :flower:

Dashka - Aw, I'm so sorry you are sick & emotional/down lately :(. You want me to send you some reiki? ;) I hope, hope, hope that your symptoms aren't prep for AF so keeping FX for you & "Om" & everything! Thanks for the pro-b info! Yeah, I need to get back on it - mine was so expensive - Theralac? I hope that you are taking good care of yourself & taking all of the naturall herbs & rememdies that you are so good with, honey. :hugs: ladies!

Hi gals. Well, been crying most of the day...I'm trying not to over-react, but I can't help it. Hubbys sperm motility is low (or borderline normal/low I should say), at 40. So, the :spermy: don't swim well... how are they supposed to reach the egg?! Sigh. We're still waiting on the morphology results.

My boss (a family dr) says not to worry too much, because the lab conducted the semen analysis two hours after he dropped off the sample... 'the :spermy: just got tired', he says. He says things are 'probably okay'. I wish I could just not worry, but OF COURSE I'm worried!

Going to see my family doctor on Friday, see what she says. Maybe IUI is in order? We shall see.

Do any of you have any experience with low sperm motility? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

xo :flower:

Hi Posey - please try not to worry - I think 40 is pretty good! Are you talking sperm count or motility? My husband's just came back with 31% motility (Rapid progressive ones) and the Morphology is 68% (it says that morphology greater than 30 is normal)... My ND wasn't worried when she saw his results. He has been taking a lot of supplements to improve like, L-Carnitine, CoQ10, Zinc, Vitamin C etc for the last 5-6 months. Remember that men's sperm is like women's eggs - they need 3 months to improve quality (ie. if you take supplements may take that long to improve)...as it is a 3 month cycle to renew.
Does he have 40% Rapid Progressive ones?... I think the morphology will tell you more! Good luck hun!:hugs:

Maria, Ella, LilS, Gemmy, thank you for your responses. WOW, all you ladies on this thread are the best :flower: I don't share these concerns with many close people in my life, so it's so therapeutic to have you gals here xo

Maria, yes, I will wait on the morphology... our lab 'criteria' for low motility here is below 40, they say to refer men to Fertility Specialists when their motility is below 40 here where I live :) I called the fertility clinic right away when I found out, she said to put the referral through because it takes a while for someone of my age to be seen by the doc anyways (we have one fertility specialist in the city). SO, that is my plan, just have it in place in case we need it.

That's interesting, your hubby has 31%, but 30% rapid progressive? Okay, that sounds positive... my hubby's results didn't differentiate between rapid progressive or other. I'll wait to see what the morph. reveals. GL to you ma'lady xo

Hubby will be ordering FertilPro supplements, and yes I have heard it takes 3 months to benefit. Darn waiting waiting waiting :coffee:

GL to all you ladies, wherever you are. Beautiful, I'm sorry the :witch: came... always so unwelcome, she is.

Here's to hoping we get some BFPs soon xo

PCBS, thank you for the thoughts, and congratulations on the BFP ma'lady! That is wonderful, you must be over the moon. :baby:

Sarah, thank you for the hopeful story. I know 40% motility isn't the end of the world, but it's not great... I guess I'm just pushing nature's buttons, but waiting 2 or 3 years feels like an eternity... I just feel soooo pressured with losing my mom last summer and now knowing my dad is sick, I just want him to know my kid(s). I'm only 27, but I have to think of these things because of my family, really... I feel like I need a baby yesterday... lol. That's why I'm taking this so hard I think.
Boy oh boyyyyy I hate being a downer. I will see what the rest of the test says, see what my doc says, go from there. :)

Hiya Wendy, ohhhhh tww is on for you, fx!

Gemmy, I hope ov. is right on time for you this month. :flower:

:hi: to all y'all I missed.

I know how you feel. A month seems like an eternity when you're ttc. Hell, the TWW seems like an eternity sometimes. I was very eager to get pregnant as well as my grandmother has been sick and I wanted her to meet my baby. I hope that it happens for you soon Posey. I'll add you to my prayers.

Hi Ladies!!

Ella - get ready for ov.. and BD'ing - 7 days straight!! wow - we'd never last that long... :)

AFM - well I'm 7/8 DPO today.... I got really emotional last night and still am today... Been feeling the same old symptoms I feel every month the week before AF (cramping, tired, achey, BBs tender).... so guess that's why been having trouble keeping positive last 2 days. It happens from time to time - I think the second week of TWW is harder because you start to get all the AF symptoms coming on -(they seem to be earlier in the TWW than usual).... I don't know hopefully I can shake it.... Don't like being like this... Think I've been away from BnB too long!

xoxo

We took a day off the other day....but I think I'm ov'ing earlier than usual this month, so now I'm wishing that that I would have listened to DH. lol. But we're planning on making up for it today. ;)

xo :flower:

I've been reading a few people's TTC journals. I would say, your DH's motility score is actually not too bad. Or at least it's better than those who have had to go straight to IUI after a SA. I think morphology is actually more of a concern. Because, it only takes one strong swimmer to fertilize an egg but if a lot of sperm are misshapen, they can't actually penetrate the egg.

But :hugs: I know it's hard to get news that something isn't quite right...and you can't help but worry. But try not to until you get all your results. Keep us updated.

Hello there ladies! I'm very new to this whole TTC thing. I've been following the thread for about a month now & it has definitely helped me stay sane during last months TWW and even leading up to this one.

I'm about 5 or 6 dpo... No symptoms to speak of, just a bit moody. I think my body is still trying to readjust since stopping BC at the end of December. My typically regular cycle jumped from a solid 30-33 days (pre BC) and in January to 25 in February with absolutely no symptoms to let me know she was coming. (Usually I have a good 3 days of lower back pain, moodiness, a headache, and serious cramps) I haven't tried OPK yet, but am thinking of starting next month if this month doesn't give me a BFP; however, I do get very noticeable ovulation pains that last 2 days. This is the first month since stopping BC that I have actually felt them so fx the 10 days of almost daily BD catches it.

Congrats to all those ladies with their BFP's... You give me hope! And to the other ladies in the TWW or waiting to be in it again FX and baby dust for you all!

:hi: Welcome to the TWW! And good luck for this month!! :)

Sarah- Happy orange day!! :)

Thanks Ella! Can't believe it's an orange already!!! :happydance:

Sarah - thanks for your post - I'm really emotional but I was also last cycle so not getting hopes up.... Got sick now - very sore throat and tickle cough... Staying home today as it hurts to talk!
Today I'm 8/9 DPO.... not going to test until Sunday if that.

YAY!!!! for your ORANGE now!!!! wow wow wow!!!

Thanks Dashka! I hope that you feel better soon! I'm having a problem with my contacts today and they're giving me a massive headache. I wish I could stay home, but alas, I have meetings every day this month now! Ugh!

:flower: Hiya girls,

I'm sorry i haven't posted properly for ages on here, ive been reading all the posts and keeping up to date with you all.. well trying to anyway i've got such a fuzzy head, and feeling so dizzy all the time.. I think the other mummies at school think i'm going loopey, i'm in a dream world and i cant help it, its hard to explain, im so bloated, i look like 5 months pregnant haha they say a woman will show sooner with a 3rd child but this is just plain awful as i cant tell anyone im pregnant yet , Im being sick at least once a day, 3 times yesterday, The baby obviously doesn't like chocolate the thought of it makes me feel ill, craving cheese! cheese on anything! :) I wish i could reach the 12 week mark asap so we can start to tell people, We are going to England in 2 weeks I'll be almost 11 weeks and we will tell Hubbys mum and dad, i really wanted to wait until after scan, but we want to tell them face to face more. Its her 50th birthday aswell so we will announce at dinner :)

I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow morning ekk im so nervous, i don't like Doctors but it has to be done.

My emotions are running wild can you tell ??!! lol.. im so tired its unreal and i feel so pathetic as i havent been doing alot but im almost asleep after dinner time every evening and tired still in morning! i could sleep for a week lol

I hope you are all feeling positve ttc! When i was waiting on my bfp i was hopeful but i honestly thought af was on here way that month, so a surprise is always around the corner when you least expect it, i still can't believe im pregnant, good luck to all of you, Wendy , Posey , Gemmy , Maria , keri where is she??!! , moose, suzi and everyone else ive forgotten like i say my head is in the clouds, im surprised ive been able to type as much as i have hee hee.

The pic you had was fuzzy but looked +OPK to me? Iw ould try a CBE Digi - you either get a smiley face or you don't. It's good to have those around so that when you aren't sure, you can test w/them & it'll let you know one way or another w/clear results. You could have ov'd twice in one month, too?

GL!

Laura - awww, I hope you feel better soon! The tiredness is probably from that hormone that releases that relaxes all those parts down there that nee dto relax. That was teh on part I liked about being preggo ;) except being that tired & not having coffee is not a whole lot of fun... :hugs:

Sooooo, AFM - I finally broke down crying this morning, too (is there an emo bug in the air or something?). I'm sick & tired of being sick & tired. I have a cyst in my left ovary, which usually isn't a big deal except its symptomatic. It could have been worse tho - we had an ectopic scare (from u/s results & symptoms) but just found out from Dr. that THANK GOD it's not! This is probably the only time I'll ever be happy about a BFN!

I think I'm getting my AF & that's why I'm emotional, too. Also I stopped all hormone creams when I got BFN on 13DPO (I knew) & so I think I'm having a hormone "crash" AND it's helping bring her on. Thank God - bring her on I'm 15DPO now dammit. I want my CD2-3 hormone tests done & overwith so I can move forward. (my way of being positive)

I'm nauseas, have constant sharp pain on left side, feverish & peeing orange (which ruined my nice lacey undies), crying & in a foul mood all at the same time, but I am SO thankful its not ectopic - thank God! I SO want to call out of work today...but I have a big presentation tomorrow for the Big Dog (Director of Eastern U.S.). I guess that would be bad.... at least I'm working from home.

That's my vent for the day. Thanks for listening! :hugs: & :dust:

Moose - I'm sorry - I'm not with it today! You said +HPT that second time - YAY!!!!! Test again, test again! I forgot, that's true that sometimes the OPK picks up a + pregnancy!!!!

FX FOR YOU!!!!!!

Hey Maria~
I got a very bad sore throat and felt that I was coming down with something. It lasted just a couple days (it came out of the blue and ended out of the blue). That was the month we got our BFP. FX the same is true for you!!!

so its CD 22 I have been continuing OPKs daily eventhough i got a positive back on CD12/13 but todays was super dark positive soooo what do you all think is this my surge ? and what were the others? luckily weve been BD every otherday this whole cycle including yesterday so my plan is to to BD tonight and tommarrow as well in case I misjudged my + OPKs earlier .....ahhh wth

When I had my meeting with the Dr. she told me that women also have a surge towards the end of their cycle that will show up on OPK's. I had no idea! Hope this helps.

 MOOSE FXed for you hun :baby:

AF started in full effect so this month I will start clomid.. Not planning to do an iui until maybe may...
