Welcome to the 'Two Week Wait'

Hey ladies,

Woke up this mornig with AF- lots pain, but more than usual- but i stayed on the lounge all day taking pain killers that i have been avoiding all month---

Was in lots of pain recntly and went to the loo to find id passed largish mass, and upon ispectino found it was fiberouse and diddnt break down into blood. I think i may have had an early misscarriage....I cant be sure of course- but since then the pain has stopped and bleeding reduced quite a lot.

So im feeling quite physically drained from the pain- and to add to that DH is away at the moment, home tomorrow night though.

We women are tough and resiliant creatures arnet we?

Ohhhh Curleymmma. I'm so sorry. You're in my prayers :(

Really don't know what is going on this month! AF is due tomorrow and I haven't started spotting yet and my temps shot back up this morning which they did at 14 DPO last month only to come plummetting back down the next day and :af: arrived.

The only symptoms that I'm having is that my BBs are burning. Feels like they have been rubbed on the carpet! Ouch! Haven't tested since Sunday (11 DPO) and I can't b/c my husband hid all my stix and I don't think he will let me pee on one until Friday. I have an u/s today to rule out ovarian cysts so at least that is something to keep my mind off of all this.

How is everybody else this morning? Again Curleymumma I'm so sorry that you are going thru this with out your husband, but you e got us :hugs:

Yup. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow! It is going quickly, but it's also going slowly! I want my baby!

Where do you work? Or were you doing work around the house?

Aww, sweeties pies, :hugs: I can't even imagine being preg as I have been at it sooooo long & have had so many mc's  But I can just imagine you preg (now that I saw your pic) & how much you love your lil :baby:.... Its so beautiful :flower: :hugs:

I'm a CPA and work for the federal govt. here in the U.S., but that's pretty much all I can say about my job. (sorry, its classified) But I do work 8-10 hour days every day. - its tough & I have to go up against some of the top attorneys & CPAs in the country, but I guess somebody's gotta do it, right? :hugs:

(maybe you can see why I need to "chillax" & take it easy if I ever hope to get preg :coffee:)

Happy 17 weeks! OMG, so great - :happydance:

I had a m/c last November, so I know how that feels (not multiples though).

Thanks LilSluz. I already love them so much. I'm still so terrified that I'll lose them. I still check the tissue every time I go to the bathroom and I freak out every time I get a little pain down there.

Wow! And I thought I had a high stress job! Holy!

Don't forget that work isn't everything and that there will never be the "right" time to have a baby. I told my boss this same thing yesterday. She's 37 and wants a baby, but keeps saying they'll try after work settles down. It's not going to though! Take some time for yourself and get working on being my bump buddy!

I can't believe I'm 17 weeks! Yay for my little onion baby!

Oh Curley, I'm so sorry if that is a mc?! Espec having to do this w/o DH :sad1: I am wondering tho, have you ever had fibroids or fibroid tumors or cysts? If it was somewhat large, I'm just thinking "maybe" it was a fibroid tumor or cyst bc I'm not sure an early mc would be largish? Did you save it to take to Dr? I think certain fibroids can be cause for infertility, too (just a thought???). Oh, whatever it ends up being I feel so bad for you :( - take it easy today :flower:

Lilly - chart does look good tho  - FX!!!!!

Sarah - believe it or not, this is my "less stressful" job - lol. Used to work 80 - 100 hours+ per week at high-powered firms. I now make considerably less $$$, but I had to reduce stress & work hrs for health concerns. Still stressful, but not quite as bad as before. So, what do you do? I agree, there's never the "right time", really when talking careers. Can't wait to find out what sex :baby: is... I would love to be your bump buddy!:winkwink:

I'm really sorry to hear about your mc, too! :sad1: That has to be so stressful once the BFP excitement wears off & you have to make it to 12 weeks "w/o stressing" :saywhat: If I get to a BFP, I'm going to need daily meditation, prayer, you name it. I can understand why you want it NOW bc PAL even after 12 weeks has to still be tough, honey... :flower: :hugs:

Hi ladies, you all are so sweet. Thank you Ella, Lil, Sarah and Gemmy for your kind words :flower: Thinking of you all and yes I'll keep you posted. :dust:

5plus1 - thats awesome, thank you for the inspiring story - BFP only after 4 days past AF due date! Congrats to you! :happydance:

Jen - hang in there, 2WW is very tough, but that's why we are all here :flower:

JoJo - Congratulations!!!!! :happydance:

Ella - I'm hoping that's an implantation dip! FX, FX, FX! :dust:

Beaut - glad you are back with us soon & hope the Clomid works for you!!! :flower: :dust:

Dashka - great to hear from you! :hugs:

AFM - :grr::grr: Can't get a Dr. appt. to get my test results back until Monday - booo! :growlmad: I'm not in 2WW yet, but waiting - period - really sux!!! :hissy::hissy::hissy: Guess I'll just keep chillin & try to keep myself calm & relaxed - ommm, ommm, ommm...:coffee:

Wendy - Good Friday 1 week early is going to be all about you! FX :dust:

I'm feeling some BFP's coming on this cycle so spreading fairy baby :dust::dust::dust: to all you wonderful ladies - GL! :hugs:

thanks hun!!! Really have my FXed that this clomid works!! :D

This morning - 14 dpo, feeling good about possibly being pg and how my chart was looking, temp dropped a little but not too worried as it's still above cover line!
This afternoon - decided to visit my parents, was telling my mum about how I think it's looking good this month, we had a lovely chat and cool drink in the sun, went to bathroom and who decided to show her ugly face!!! :witch:
I was absolutely devastated
I'm still in shock that AF came. I'm going to bathroom every 15 mins to check that I wasn't seeing things! :nope: DH isn't home from work yet so I'm not looking forward to telling him!

Ah well - another month bites the dust!

Good luck to everyone still waiting to test! :dust:

Curly - Hope your ok! Really sorry if that's a m/c and even if not, I'm so sorry your going through this! Take plenty of fluids and rest well :hugs:

I'm so sorry to hear that! It wasn't meant to be this time. Good thing it happened very early before you got a bfp and got all excited. We are strong! We can make it through anything! :happydance:

Beautiful - Hooray for being in the TWW! I hope this one ends in a BFP for you!

Katie (moose) - So sorry to hear that AF has come. :hugs: I hope your appointment goes well when you make it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your 2013 baby!

Lil- That sucks that you can't get your results until Monday! Waiting is so hard. Definitely try to relax...and here's hoping for good results for you!!

Gemmy- Thanks Gemmy! Good luck! That BD schedule sounds good. I can't wait to hear how this TWW goes for you. I'm hoping so hard it ends in a BFP!

Kelly- Sorry to hear your TWW might be a three week wait...but glad to have you here! Welcome and enjoy! I hope your long wait ends in a BFP... Good luck!!

Sarah- Happy onion day!! And happy fingerprints day! How exciting!
I've got some willpower about testing, since I only have one test lying around...so I want to make it count. Plus, when I test early, AF comes right after I test, so I don't really want to give her any incentive to show up. ;) But here's to hoping that on the 4th, I get to become your bump buddy!! :)

Wendy- I'm only a day or two behind you! :) I'm hoping so hard it's an implantation dip. Sarah needs more bump buddies! I can wait to test...but I can't wait for you to test!! lol! Definitely let us know how it goes. Crossing my fingers for a BFP for you!

Curley- :hugs: Whether its an early mc or not, :hugs: It's always hard when AF comes. But you're right, women are very strong and resilient. I hope that you're feeling better. You'll get through this and come out stronger for it on the other side. :hugs:

Lilly- Good luck!! I hope the lack of spotting and the fire bbs are signs that your BFP is right around the corner! Your DH hid the sticks? :haha: I suppose that's one way to keep you from POAS. I hope your u/s went well. Keep us updated!

just_wishing - :hugs: Sorry that witch showed up. She sure knows how to spoil a party. I hope next month is the one for you!

YAY! Congrats JOJO! H&H 9 months! :happydance: I'm so very happy for you!

AFM: AF is due on the 2nd. I've had some interesting symptoms these past few days, but I'm trying to stay level headed. I don't want to get all worked up and overly excited, only to be disappointed when AF shows. The plan is to test on the 4th if no AF...I really hope this is it. :)

Thanks so much. I hope this is it for you! I made myself wait until i was a week late to test, that and the DH and i didnt want to be disappointed if it was negative. heres some :dust::dust::dust::dust::dust: ill be praying for you!

Hi Ladies,

Just wishing - I'm so sorry that AF came ... how terrible.... is it full blown bright RED flow yet? If not you could still take a PT just to be sure...

Curly - sorry AF arrived too!! Lils has a point about the fibroids/cysts....Often people who have a lot of pain are passing blood clots etc... Do you normally have clotting on your first day or two? You would probably know though as you've had m/c's before... Either way I'm sorry to hear.... Good luck to you!

Moose - so sorry the witch got you too!!! Wow she struck hard today.... Good luck and hang in there.

Lils - oh Rats about the Dr. App't being Monday now..... I hope you get all the answers you need... Hang in there hun!

Posey - so great to hear from you!! Good luck with the re-testing - Remember there are lots of things DH can do to improve SC/SM..

Sarah - congrats on your onion!!!

Ella - GL testing!!! have all my limbs crossed for you!!! I hope this is it for you!! xo

Beautiful - GL on the clomid -hope it works for you!

Lilly - GL testing - I hope this is your month!

Wendy - GL testing - the suspense is killing me too!!! (for you!!) xo

Hello to everyone else I missed!! Big hugs

AFM - today I'm CD11 - usually my OPK is positive on day 11 - but not yet so I'm hoping ov. will be delayed a little this month (so egg has more time to develop)... I think my really bad Upper Resp. thing and all the meds may have something to do with it. I'm on my last day of antibiotics today, but still have to use the inhaler thing for another week (yuk!)

xoxo

Thank you Dashka & DBZ34 Baby dust to all the ladies testing in april!!! I hope we all get our BFP :D

I look forward to talking with you all while we sit through our TWW !!!

Tried multi quote for the first time but it's not so easy. I got confused where there was quote in quotes.
Needless to say I enjoy reading all your messages. :flower:

So, today is CD 17. No smily face yet and I am doing 2 tests a day plus temping. Just keep going I guess. So far we have bd'd CD 4,7,13,14 & 16. It is all still possible right now!

We are just so ready for this to happen now!!

Thanks ladies, i feel much better this am. Going to law low for a while, look forward to a cuddle from DH tonight!

What i passed wasn't usual for me, however- being my first round of clomid, maybe having ovulated for the first time since who knows, maybe i havnt been used to whats normal for a long time. My periods have been getting shorter and lighter for quite a while.

Im not going to fall in a heap over it- if i had have had a BFP and then lost it, i would probably fall in a heap- but i wont for a 'maybe' thats possibly a bad period!

Anyhow, i got some co-q-10 on special that i will start- as well as flax seed oil capsules - which are supposed to do the same thing as evening primrose oil for EWCM. Replenished my stock of magnesium- very usefull
at AF time!

Its good to have you ladies to talk to

:dust: :dust: :dust:

T2BC - I just checked out your chart & you have crosshairs on CD13 so FF thinks you may have ov'd then (& you had watery CM)? Did/do you have any sicknesses or sleep deprivation that could cause your temp shift or can think of anything else? Keep OPKing if you aren't really confident in the chart, but sometimes there are just some women who don't get +OPK's. I didn't for 9 months, but those were the cheapies. But even now I feel lucky if I catch the smiley face. You GO girl! :dust:

Curley - sometimes i pass big clots, but they are bloddy. I had just googled "passed fibrous mass" bc I was curious about what early mc's would be like & I got a bunch of hits for fibroids & cysts... hmmm.

I had a month that I was suspicious too, but like you said since I didn't get the BFP, I wrote it off as a weird period. Yeah, the Clomid could have messed w/hormones which in can do all kinds of crazy stuff & perhaps it kinda cleaned you out a bit?

But I'm just glad you aren't in pain anymore & you are dusting yourself off & looking forward to having a whole new cycle to try all new things. You are very strong & resilient! Thats' how a lot of us look at it - one more month to get healthy as possible! :flower: Sending :hugs:

Its hard to know- i had a d&c in dec, and pathology said no cycsts or fibroids, so FX i dont have to worry about more complications!!!

Home-made blueberry and banana honey muffins with walnuts and hot cinamon tea to start the cycle! \\:D/ Keep ing fit and healthy, gives you more energy and mental health capacity, whatever happens in your womb, you need good head space and god health:flower:
