My husband and I tried for 2 years about 3 years ago which I ended up having a MC and could not deal with the thought of trying again. Now I'm ready and we are on our 2nd month and I'm really overwhelmed with thinking that its not going to happen for us. I'm scared that we will end up trying for years again. I just wish it would happen already.

Have you thought about a fertility specialist? That will be our next step if I'm not preggers by February.

My name is Lisa and me and my hubby are trying to conceive our first. Next week i start clomid. I am a lil nervous about starting it. We are just ready to have our own lil man.lol yes my hubby wants a boy. we already have a name picked out. My parents bought us a cradle and we are slowly working on the nursery. To most people this is weird but my hubby is a planner down to a tee. but its a good thing. we have owned our home for going on 4 years, both have stable jobs and most of our deby (excluding mortgage and car payment and school loans) is paid off. Im open to any suggestions. I have been on another website and was basically talked down to and yelled at, at times. mainly because it hasnt been a full year and im starting clomid. im hoping to make some friends on here. currently i am in the last part of my 2 week wait. if i do not start then i start clomid. anyone offer any advice??

Welcome! We aren't downers or yellers on this site! I think it's great you're about to start clomid. Good for you. Way to be proactive about this. Waiting is the worst. I think it's safe to say most of us on here are very impatient and rightfully so dang it. I will be starting clomid myself in January or so if we're not preggers by then. We've been trying since February. Good luck to you!!!

Yeah I seen a fertility specialist about the same time I had my MC. They told me there was nothing wrong and that I should be able to conceive naturally. DH was tested and I was to. I know it sounds odd but I can feel that something is wrong. I have felt like that since I was a teenager I just knew that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant but it hasn't stopped me from trying. I'll keep bding an keep my fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, new to this forum thing so bear with me! ...have been TTC for 8 months and just got another negative preg test and feel like i have no-one to talk to about it. most of my friends are pregnant or have babies and they must think its helpful to tell me how quickly they conceived, when frankly it makes me want to scream!

I know how you feel!! Im middle of my cycle and just hoping i dont get another neg test i know alot of people pregnant and conceived and im sitting here like hello when is it my go?! Doesnt help MC my first pregnancy early this year :/ xx

hello there, i am trying to conceieve and would appreciate some response to my question--I had sexual intercourse with my partner the day before my period started. He ejaculated inside me. My period was not the usual, it was spotty and not the normal bright red colour but instead brownish. period stopped 3 days later and I am now experiencing nausea, dizziness, stomach cramps, and even vaginal thrush today. I have a small amount of vaginal discharge when i wipe of which is a light pink colour. I am also peeing more frequent. Any possible sign I am pregnant? iv brought a test ready to take in few weeks

If it was the day before your period you couldnt be pregnant- Sometimes we have light cycles and stress can definitely be a factor! Of course, if you are trying to get pregnant, it could be possible this was implantation bleeding you were experiencing and you should take a test now! (Try to figure out if you had sex 6-10 days before this bleeding started)... You should take the test about 2 weeks from when you had the unprotected sex. Test again in 2 weeks and if its still negative and the symptoms dont go away, you should call your doctor.

TTC mommy i agree with turtlemomma hun we can have weird periods Look at my chart i had one last cycle. Anyways try to see if you had sex 6-10 prier to this weird bleeding and take a test is 2weeks to be sure. But you should consider the bleeding your haveing as your period for now this way You can continue try for baby up until your next o.
As for me- i feel like crap, lowbackach, headache, neckpain, achey, upset stomach ughh i just feel like shit, going to go laydown for a nap. Hope you ladys have a good week.

Hello everyone! I haven't logged on since June- sorry! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm having a bit of a tough time lately. Gettin exhausted trying month after month... Last month had an IUI and got a BFN. This month they have me still on the puregon injections and always on the metformin. Although taking those meds I had an u/s today and still nocturne follicles. They have increased the puregon for the next three days and I go back for another u/s Thursday. This time the doc is talking about IVF. I'm scared, I'm tired, I cry a lot...

Thanks very much for your reply. Yes we had sex before my period was due (unprotected) and we have had sex the day after my period stopped. However, as I only had a suspected period last week, i think i should wait a little longer to do the test as I dont want a negative

Hi ladies,

I hope you don't mind me joining in.. I'm new to all of this and am not sure where to start.

My story is probably one you've heard before, been TTC for just under a year, had a mc in March and I have pcos. I had a really awful experience with the hospitals and my gps when I mc and have made it my mission to do things as naturally as possible with as little intervention as I can.

Hubby and I have started taking pregnacare conception but I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything else to try?

This is our first month on pregnacare and so far its been very good, especially as helping my skin!!! Only on cd17 so early days but fingers crossed!!

Welcome! A lot of folks have tried preseed and say it works wonders. But I haven't had much luck, but it never hurts!

Sorry about your mc selly. Good luck on your journey and welcome. I've not tried pregnacare but have tried evening primrose and preseed. I had to stop taking the evening primrose. It gave me an allergic reaction to my eyes. I have lots of allergies. I didn't mind the preseed but hubby hated it so i had to stop that. I guess December we'll try back to the basics and all natural and see what happens. Good luck to you though!

Dear TTC sisters,

I am 26 years old, been married for a little over 3 years, and my husband and I have been proactively TTC starting early this year. I am a possible candidate for PCOS. I haven't had my period for over 10 months. Ever since I've had my period at the age of 14, I have had irregular periods (2-3 periods/yr). I meet some of the other PCOS symptoms as well. Now that my husband and I are ttc, I'm worried that conceiving is going to be hard. I have always thought I would want to conceive naturally, but it's so hard when my body has always been crazy with irregular periods. We desperately want to be blessed with children and can use lots of baby dust. At this point, we are debating if we should continue trying to conceive naturally with me trying to change my diet and exercise or try Clomid. I don't want to be wasting time here in case my I'm running out of eggs or worst case scenario, left with no eggs.

What are your thoughts about ttc naturally and using medicine such as Clomid?

welcome! I think it's a good thing to be proactive about this. My hubby and I will be starting clomid in January if we don't conceive in December after my procedure this month. We'll have been trying to conceive a year in February. It's time. Good luck to you and
