i feel the same way as you... i wonder why i even bothered trying to not get preg when i was younger lol it just seems so damn hard. Dont worry about age i know so many people in their 30's having kids. It may make it a little harder but not a huge problem in my opinion.

Its nice to know Im not alone,I cant believe quite how gutting it is when you get your AF when in my twenties I was celebrating. I know alot of us are all in the same boat so fingers crossed for everyone.
Ive ordered a basal thermometer so I'll start charting my temp and see where that takes me

Ok ladies...ive made it to day number 2 of . I havent taken an hpt since yesterday morning but I do have an appt for my gyno at 11 today because im supposed to be getting my annual. Would they do anything there that they would be able to tell if I'm pregnant? I mean if they gave me a urine test I dont know if it would work since they haven't yet but I didn't know if they would just do a sono or something.

Hi, I should be ovulating about now and can feel twinges in my lower abdomen. Me and my bf have been having sex since I finished my AF 6/11 every 2 days. Couldn't do it last night as my bf's eczema has flared up. I know sperm can live a while but worried if we don't do it on my most fertile days we'll miss out this month.
I did concieve 10 days into my menstrual cycle with my DS before but I'm over 2 years older now and my percentage of conceiving has gone down a little bit now.
I'm taking folic acid so hoping that will help. I'm just worried it'll take forever and sex will become a chore. Me and my bf are very passionate and don't want it to get stail.
It's so very stressful. Plus the wait to see if your pregnant is so short but it's like torture.

My DH and I have been tryin for our number 1 since may. We just got married in June and also suffered a miscarriage in june of '09 at 9wks. Wishin baby dust to us all..

I'm also new so thought this was a good place to start....have been TTC since January this year so starting to get a bit about the whole situation. I also had a MC in 2009 but it was an 'oops' so figured we'd fall easily, now that we're actually trying. How wrong was I! Not entirely sure what's going on with my cycles...they're long and irregular, averaging 50+ days. Am currently at CD51, and apparently 24 DPO according to FF, but I suspect I maybe never O'd. Have had TCM to no avail, so now am waiting for the 12 month mark so I can go back to the doctor and get a referral to an FS!

Sorry to hear about your MC too..
Have you been given any thing for your long cycles? have you seen a specialist yet? Go Back to the docs now, just say you have been TTC for 12 months! I came off the pill last year but we have been TTC for jan properly..

We've tried Clomid no joy so we are hoping this month is our month!

We too thought we would fall preg easily after our mc...nope..not so easy..we tried for about 6 mths after then put it on hold and planned our wedding and figured we would get married..here we again are 6 mths later..in september i had a week of pelvic pain and bleeding midcycle...doc said it was a funky cycle...boy was it painful and discouraging..DH and I bd'd the night b4 so doc assumed it was an "annovulatory cycle".
Ellie...have ur cycles always been irregular?

Lucy...No meds..started to take prenatal vitamins 3 weeks ago.and making sure i lay down after bd'ing..i got a less physical job at the hospital i work at so im hoping a little less stress in my life will help..i was thinking of evening primrose oil...idk..i think i will try anything at this point!!..lol

Fingers crossed your journey is short from here on lildebs - it sounds like it's been a rocky path for you so far Lol at 'funky cycle' - I think that's the medical terminology for what I'm experiencing right now...pretty sure my body is gettin' funky hah!

My cycles have never been regular, but because I was on HBC for so long, it's hard to know for sure. I know I have to let my body work out what it's doing (10 years on the pill can't be good) but it's awfully frustrating!

I know what you mean, its soooooooooo hard when people tell you to relax i feel like ha ha

When i came of the pill it took me 3 months to get back on track!! it was annoying as i was ready when i was ready if you know what you mean it really plays with your mind!

If it makes you feel better then i would say test hun, but it does take your body a while to get back on track, how long were you on the pill for ?

Hey ladies, I apologize I've been Mia for the past week especially where I left off. I went to the doctor last week and he did a blood test. This weekend my mom got married so it was hectic to get on here. Monday rolled around and I was waiting to get my results back. I was 6 days late with my hopes extremely high bc I've never been this late and the witch showed her face. So I've been pretty down and out the past few days and have kept to myself. But I'm back...feeling a little better, and taking my second round of clomid. Tonight I'll take some time to catch up on everyone.

CD31- no af and a BFN from blood test at Dr. Super bummed. Waiting for Dr to call me back to say what the next step is for clomid round 2. Probably will have to do prometrium again since af isnt starting on its own. So if af isnt starting and Im not pregnant, doesnt that probably mean I didnt even ovulate? And they even gave me the trigger shot to make me ovulate. TTC sucks.

I've been trying for 6months now.... it does suck I think its only a FEW woman who fall pg pretty quick. For the most I think they say it can take up to a year for a healthy young couple to get pg.

Hey hopeful mommies to be!!

Ive been workin like a madwomen the last couple of days, and unable to get on here...i hope everyone is doin well and hanging in there...

anywho, im sure i ovulated on sun or mon, considering on tues my BB's hurt as they always do up untill AF..ugh..ive been a lil moodier than usual the last 2 days, but i think its related to the impending witch(always feeling that im out another month). I figure since my BB's are sore like they always are after O until AF than im probly not preg..
Had alot of creamy tacky white CM today...usually pretty dry untill like 2 days prior to my AF..idk tho..i had EWCM on the 11th. We DTD on the 12th, 13th(twice),14th,15th(twice), and stayed on my back for about 45min-1hr.
But i must stay positive...although its so frustrating!!

Its funny how before I came off I read loads of forums with people saying they had no problems after the pill, and now I am off - all I can find are people saying it took them ages! lol

Would be lovely to have some good news before xmas - hope others do too.

Lucylou- I am 25 and you probably get the same thing I hear all the time...your so young dont worry! TTC for alomst 9 months now. Frustrating when the DR keeps referring to my age and to be positive.
