To be honest - part of me wishes that I hadn't read half of the things that I have since TTC as it made me worry too but I have since decided to go down the positive thinking road instead. But I will share some stories from people I know. My Mum came off the pill and took 7 months to conceive - My colleague at work came off the pill and got pregnant on her very next cycle - My best friend was still on the pill and got pregnant by accident. So there is a real mix bag for you - and there is hope for us all! You will read some really heartbreaking stories on these forums but you must not let that get you down. YOU are different. Thank you for your reply!! I know...reading some of the stories, your mind goes into overdrive!. Thank you for the stories, the same happened my friend...twice! So part of me anticipated it immediately Isn't it funny...such a fear of missing one pill..and when you want it it can't come quick enough! I a trying to stay positive too..just used the last strip of my OPK and still negative..so instead of spending a small fortune on them I think I will just wait until I have a period and start charting from then. I had a bleed on the 17th Dec (came off cerazette on the 13th) and though happy days..but after reading these forums I see it must be a withdrawal bleed even though I never bled on the pill. I came off the combined pill a few years ago for a few months for health reasons and cycles came back with a vengeance straight away! lol Oh I never thought I would see the day I would wish for AF! ...sorry for rambling..this is how you know I am excited! Best of luck to you and everyone else!! Fingers crossed for New Year BFP's or at least a big fat ovulation for me!! xxx

Hi I am new. I am 26 and my boyfriend is 27. This is our third monthTTC. It willbe my first and his second but he didnt get to go through the pregnancy and birthing process with his son cause his baby mama was a grinch. So its is a whole new experience for the both of us.

I am on CD4, Oing between jan 10-15, I plan to DTD every other day from when AF leaves till the 5th then every day till the 15th. I will being using OPKs and plan to start taking prego tests 10 days past the positive then every other day till the BFP or AF.

Hi Sarah829! You are something similar to me...this is my first and my other half's fourth! Madness. Will be nice to give his ones a little brother or sister. But we are so excited to be going through it together now. Were you on the pill before if you don't mind me asking? I came off cerazette on the 13th Dec and had what I am guessing was a withdrawal bleed...so anxious for the real AF to come or to even ovulate! Hi everyone, I'm new here and coincidentally new to TTC. We only started this month and I think (based on me following me cycles for the last year or so) that I'm due to ovulate on Wednesday. Already started DTD All a bit scary but im 33 and very excited too. Happy to meet people in the same boat as me!

I hadnt been on the pill in over a year. So I knew my cycles and it was good cause I am using apps to monitor them the whole time so they know better than i do when I am ovulating haha.

Hi Sarah, I am loving this plan.. ... I am on CD5 today like you too.. I'm TTC #1 too on Clomid, so I'm not sure when I will O.. but will keep testing..... Hope we all get our BFP this month!!! xxx

Hi everyone I have pcos and have been ttc for 5 years tried clomid for 12 months. Dh had semen analysis which was perfect.
I had a laparoscopy and a hsg which showed no blockages.
Feel very frustrated that we have unexplained infertility
I am going for consultation to ivf clinic tomorrow and wondering anyone else in same situ ? X

I'm new here - my OH and I have decided this is the year to start trying. I've come off the pill and have had my first period. Bit concerned I won't be able to work out a cycle though as I have PCOS and without the pill I generally only have periods every 2 years! Is there any hope ladies?!

Hey all,

Ive never been on a site like this before but here goes.... Weve been TTC for 2yrs, i was told i had PCOS about 1 yr ago so started up with a fertillity Dr. After a yr of tests and 1 HyCosy i feel pregnant naturally back in June.... Amazing i here you say .... well not so. I MC'd at 7weeks in September. I was totally numb! Seeming 2days before i had an early pregnancy scan and was told i was 6wks5days and saw the heartbeat. I went back to Fert Dr in November and his exact words were youve just had bad luck there is nothing else i can do !! So he discharged me and said if i dont fall in 6months then to go back and start all tests again!! Ive since then put on a brave face, but ive just watched One Born Every Minute and im in tears I should be 5-6mths by now, but instead im empty and feel useless....

New--and TTC 15 mths now- starting 3rd round of clomid 100mg after 2 rounds of 50mg. HSG test scheduled for Jan. 12th--just found out that two of my friends are pregnant and really becoming impatient. This is so hard!

Hi Keableg, didn't want to read and run!!... I've also had irregular cycles since I can remember, so was difficult to pinpoint if I was even ovulating at all.. Went to a fertility specialist and was prescribed Provera to induce my period and then told to start taking clomid to help with ovulation... Just finished first course of clomid and just waiting to ovulate.. So there is definitely hope and help available if you need it..

I think that Clear Blue OPK is the best---it's worked for me now for about a year. My progesterone is low therefore I don't always ovulate, but since I've been on clomid I have O'd every time!

Honestly---I haven't. They are expensive, but I often find $5 off coupons in the mail or you can find coupons online to print off. GL!

Thanks! I found some Clear Blue OPK online for $53 for 7 ha ha! not much of a saving but i'll give them a go!!

Hi any one else perhaps have endocrine problems??? I have been battling hypothyroidism for years now wondering if I should give up ttc? I'm very discouraged

Jlover- Please don't be discouraged and don't give up. I've never had issues with hypothyroidism, but I do know that giving up get's us nowhere. Don't give up! The baby will be worth it! Prayers going out to you!

I'm 22 dpo have all symptoms and spotted on day 7 dpo but 3 bfn I just don't get it think to early?
