I went off the pill right after our wedding in august.
AF wonky
42 days
32 days
32 days
38 days

Now I'm on day 35, no AF, BFN on day 32, no symtoms other than pms so I'm assuming AF is coming soon. (No sore boobs nothin) I'm so disapointed. I have endometriosis and have had a couple of surgeries already (I'm 27) so I've always been worried about not being able to get pregnant. I hate that my cycle is so long!! So hard to chart and too long to wait.

did your doctor tell you how long you should try alone before you need to seek help? I am approaching the old "one year mark" and DH and I are afraid of going to see a specialist... it kinda feels like we'll be admitting failure and that's not something we can do easily...

RCAFWife, I have always heard 1 year too, I have also been told that the first thing the dr will tell you is to start tracking your BBT and using the opk, so I have done the opk's for 4 months with this current month being the first time I got a + and have also started tracking my temp. I have an appt Feb. 7th so I am hoping since that will be my 8th month he will go ahead and run some tests on me.
I understand about feeling like a failure but then again if there is an issue I want to know so I can fix it and get my baby!

Feb 2011 I started reading Taking Charge of your Fertility and made my first chart that month. Right now, I'm on cycle #11, and a temping pro lol. We've been timing bms for the EW days just before my usual temp rise on day 18, and we used the cheapo dollar store opk. I think we've been having bms on the wrong days, just outside the fertile window, because this month I used the clear blue digital OPK and got a smiley face two days earlier than I thought I should (based on how i interpreted the dollar store tests)...so I'm hoping this is our problem! But if no joy by next month, I will make an appt with my doc to get a referral to a specialist :O

That's funny because I am hoping that is my problem too, before I just bought the cheap tests and was always confused and if it was positive or not, they were really hard to read so this month I thought I would buy the smiley face ones so that way I would definately know one way or the other and I got one finally! I was very happy and we made sure to do it at the right time so hopefully it works!! Good luck to you as well!

lol -- I would hold those cheapo tests up to the window or bathroom light to see if I really saw a pink line or not haha! So sad...I find if you are charting it makes it easier to pinpoint when to start testing with the OPK so that you use less test sticks. This cycle I only had to use 2 -- got the smiley face on the second stick! And you don't have to test once you see that smiley so now I have 5 more, which I hope I won't have to use

That will be nice to not use so many, since this is my first month temping I really didn't have anything to go by, but if I'm not pregnant this month hopefully that will help me out next month so I can cut down on some expenses

Hi everyone I'm new to this site! Currently TTC but not had a period since 7th nov but had bfn, last test was 15th jan. doctor has referred me for a laparoscopy which I'm a bit apprehensive about and may cancel until I reach 12 months of TTC. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Hi Ladies,
So yesterday morning I woke up and was spotting. I of course, freaked out and went straight to the hospital. my LMP was december 13th, which should have put me at 6 weeks prego. They ran labs and did an ultrasound to make sure I wasnt having a miscarriage, well low and behold there was still a gestational sac in there, with a perfectly working corpeus leutuem (spelling is wrong) I am NOT 6 weeks prego, I am only 4 weeks pregnant. I found out I was pregnant at 2 weeks and 6 days (weird I know and no one can explain it.) So we go back in on thursday and then next tuesday for more labs, labs yesterday showed an hcg as 2892. I do not understand any of this, any ideas? thanks and keep your fingers crossed this bean sticks!!! Anna

I have also been TTC for a year. We are know getting help from a fertility specailist. I will be starting clomid in a few weeks.
