Hey everyone - my husband and I are TTC .... I have been going to regular doctors appointments since the first of the year. I'm 28 and have no kids; he has two daughters (I love my step-daughters, but I so want one of my own). I have PCOS and that is proving to be a problem with conception. I am currently on Metformin to see if that helps and so far - nothing. Next month I will be having a meeting with a new Doctor (my current doctor is 3x the cost of normal, which I just found out.... so we switched) to have the procedure done to see if my tubes are blocked. Honestly, I am hoping that is the problem so it will be an easy fix.

SO yeah, I am here looking for support and looking for women who have gone through the same thing I am going through. It's hard to deal with it, it's hard to see all of my friends getting pregnant left and right, it's hard to explain to my husband why it's so hard to be here with his kids and have to act as a "mother" while I am unable to be a mother .... so it will be nice to have some place to vent and get support

hey there and welcome!! yeh this is a great place to just write whatever you want and express yourself. i also have PCOS and we are having conceiving problems. we have done all the tests and PCOS and my hubby's low sperm count are the factors for us. I'm not taking metformin since that won't help me the docs say. i'm on 100mg clomid this cycle. 50mg didn't do anything for me. i'm hoping this cycle works!! i'm waiting to O and just getting very impatient. i see CM and get excited but then take an ovulation test and it's negative, which then i get dissappointed. but i'm hoping this week sometime i will O. i have a follow up appt. on the 11th to make sure i don't have any cysts forming from the clomid. i'm praying i don't and that we can do our IUI very very soon this week!! anyways good luck and hang in there!!!!

I have my next doctors appointment on the 12th The metformin I don't think is doing anything .... it's just making my tummy upset and I have to use the bathroom a lot - so I am going to ask if I can stop taking it, it's making me miserable

I hope you don't have any cysts as well so you can start the IUI!! Good luck!!!!!

good luck with your appt!! i haven't o'd yet, not sure if i will this month. my temps started going down the last 3 days so who knows. just have to wait and see.

Ok girls...so hubby and I are headed to Jamaica for vacation for a week! I'm really excited but a tiny part of me in the back of my head is very nervous for results this cycle as we're already in the 2ww. I should find out on the trip if we are pregnant or not...maybe...i'm scheduled to get my period on or about the 10th...we get back on the 11th. So I won't be temping or charting at all while we're gone so I think this month will just be a surprise either way. I know I'll be thinking about it a little but I'm going to try not to stress and just enjoy this vacation and maybe luck is in our favor this time. Pray for us/wish us luck, whatever it takes. I will check back in when we return and see how all of you ladies are doing and give you an update on me! to all!!!

So I won't be temping or charting at all while we're gone so I think this month will just be a surprise either way. Into my 3rd month of TTC Feeling super disappointed as I was a day late for AF and got completely overexcited, tested negative and held onto the small hope that it could be a dud test, and that I'd try again with a better brand.. Then came on late in the evening :'(
Feeling really frustrated as I have been following my ovulation and taking all the necessary steps yet having no joy.. I know it takes a while, but I'm young and healthy.
I know I should take it easy and not set too much store on this but hey, you all know how hard that is!
Have any of you other girls had problems conceiving after Implanon?

I'm 9dpo today my chart is all over the place so thats no help to me! haha anyways i have no symptoms other then hot flashes the past two days and a sharp needle like prick pain on left ovary the past two days.. but who knows what that means. anyways this is my 4th or 5th month of TTC we had a mc a year ago and decided to wait a little while before trying. it took us about 10 months of trying before we became pregnant and I'm afraid it will take even longer this time just hoping for the best. anyways good luck ladies lots of sticky baby dust!

Hello ladies.I am doing my first cycle of gonal f. So far I have done 10 75 unit injections. My estrogen level has increased from 86 to almost 250 in the last week. Had an appt last thursday but there was no growth. I had another appt yesterday and there were to collides that had grown (1 13cm and 1 8cm). I do another 2 75 unit injections and go back tomorrow.
Grow little follicles, grow!!!

That's what i hear too Wannabewatkins! they even say wait a year. Still hard to believe that statistics show that it takes an average of a year to get pregnant for a healthy fertile couple!

hang in there.. easier said than done i know.. but you're body will smile if you stay positive!

yip, been trying for a year without help, possibly have polycystic ovaries. first cycle of clomid this month. don't think it has worked, blood tests this morning, will hear soon whether to go for scan or not. ugh.

Hi AndyD. I hope clmoid works for you. I have PCOS, but clomid did not work for me. I went to injectables this cycle. The injectables worked and i am getting ready to do my IUI on sat.

I feel the same way, I've been trying for about the same amount of time, and I'm a total symptom watcher and think I have symptoms, last month I thought for sure I was I took a test and got a line and a pink dot, then I was a day late so I thought for sure took another test negative and AF came the next day. I totally understand the frustration too, seems like everybody is getting pregnant around me, I'm happy for them but frustrated that it hasn't happened for me yet. Sorry not any suggestions, just hang in there and lots of baby dust to you.

So our Jamaica trip was amazing and very relaxing...just what I needed...but as you can tell from my chart I didn't get my happy present I was hoping for while there. Started early again and on my vacation which sucked and I had my meltdown right on cue but I gathered myself together and hubby was wonderful as usual and got me through it and after a few was fine the rest of the trip. So I guess it's on to the next cycle...#6 now I believe? We'll get there! Got my blood results back and my pap was normal which is great and all my levels were good but my progesterone was low so starting CD#16 which is the 21st, I will be on prometrium for 12 days to help with that. She also started me on baby aspirin so that will be on my chart daily as well. So fingers crossed for us ladies and to all of you -

I will go through the posts I've missed while gone to catch up on all of you. I hope everyone is well and I've missed ya's. Hoping to see some BFP's happened while I was gone!
