42 yo mother of 3 trying to conceive. My youngest is 13. Had iud taken out two months ago. All the acronyms are confusing me so much I can't find advise given on forum.

OB said if we don't conceive on our own within the first two months to come back and they would send us to a specialist. We are military, I know they wont cover invitro. Anyone military out there that has been in our shoes?

I would like to know what our next step will probably be.

Hello I've been lurking for a while decided time to pull finger out and say hi!!. I'm 37 and been ttc for 2 yrs but no go, have dd who is 3 and would like a friend other than the dog
 
I would like to join this group too. Even though I am still 35 I will be 36 on oct 24th. We have a 2yo son (march '09) and decided to give it a shot this month. I took Clomid 100mg on cd 4-8 and ovulated on oct 10. That puts my expected period ON my birthday! Let's keep our fingers crossed and NOT let my period stay away. It would be the best birthday gift ever if I tested positive and it's a sticky one.
Let me read back and try to get to "know" you girls a little. Everyone good luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you!

Dachhundmom- We are military too and so we have Tricare. My OB/Gyn had me draw blood to do all sort of tests and put me on Clomid and Progesterone. I see you are overseas and not sure how they handle it overthere. We are Stateside... I do know that my neighbor who used to be stationed in Turkey had to go to Germany/Landstuhl to give birth. But that's all I know. Hope it kinda helps you. Goog luck!
 
Ha ha Yeah I just saw that. I am still trying to figure out how this whole forum thingy works. So my post was meant for 42yo. Sorry for the confusion...
 
And I had a question about "thanking". How does that work? What is it for? Or is it just a respect thing? :)

Hi Lynnami,
Im new to this group to, im 35 and will be 36 in March next year. Trying to concieve #1.
Im using preseed and CLFM for the first time this month. Had all checked by my do a few months ago and he said all looked pretty good, however if nothing happens, for me to go back to him so he can suggest a fertility clinic for me (due to my age) My question to you is, how long did you wait before you were given Clomid ?
As far as I know I ovulate each month...
 
Rajnin- My Ob/Gyn prescribed me the Clomid after I had a blighted ovum and m/c within 3 months. She thought the Clomid would help the stronger egg to release. So the answer you question: I ovulate every month too and was given the Clomid after 3 months to support the growth and release of the stronger egg.

Hi bobbypin5 - also TTC #3 at 37 with DH and have 2DDs (7, 9). My DH had a reversal in April. We've been trying since his recovery.

New to the site as well. TTC #3. We've been trying since my DH got the okay from his dr after his vasectomy reversal.

Hi everyone! I am new to TTC (been trying about 3 months). I just introduced BBT today so my chart on FF pretty barren. I am hoping that some of you who have been charting for a while will be able to help me decipher my chart assuming I can't figure it out. I am looking forward to reading your posts and interacting with others in a similar situation. I appear to be somewhat older than many here on a first look. I am certain that won't matter. I am finding that I am addicted to TTC sites. I will be browsing for a bit.

Hi Michele, I have been charting for several months now TTC#3. It makes me feel proactive and gives me comfort when I see the temp shift after O. I'll offer what insight I can. I'd put one of mine up, but I haven't figured out how to yet.
I have become a little addicted as well.

I haven't figured out yet how to upload from FF either. Though, all I did on another site was copy and paste my chart from FF address bar into my signature line. I am still too new here to have a siggy bar so I can't do that here yet to test that theory. Thanks for your welcome post. :)
