Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Hi Philomena-Good to hear from you. Glad you are doing well. I hope your test results come back good. Sometimes you get your BFP when you least expect it!!

Grey eyes-How are you today? I will give you my blood results when I get them later. I had my 7dpo progesterone test today. I don't know if it really means anything but it will be good for my piece of mind to know that my body is doing what it's supposed to do!

Grey eyes- I totally get it. I would do the same! Have you ever thought of asking your doctor to do an hcg test just to see your levels? There is a lot of info on that and 1 test doesn't really tell you much. You need to do 2 tests and see how it rises? It's just an idea. How is your nausea today?

Nausea...oh, it's here alright! lol. I have been waking up with it but I can usually control most of it by snacking on toast or getting some cold air--it varies. Not awful bad though. With my first dd it was sooOOoo bad! Lol and I didn't have a clue that I was prego (I got prego just as I went on ortho tricyclene lo) and dh and I had just traveled several hundred miles to see family (not a fun trip sorry to say) and the stress made it so much worse. Then every morning we'd stop and get an espresso. BAD IDEA :haha: So I was abusing myself w/o knowing it. Then like an idiot I chowed down on corn nuts all the way home ... yes, dh had to stop the car several times. But I learned my lesson! Took a hpt about a week later- surprise:) So I have learned a few tricks; namely keep family away (my family isn't so nice all the time:dohh:) and avoid acidic coffee :haha:

How are you feeling? Did you test your progesterone levels on Wednesday?
9dpo today right? Are you going to test tomorrow??

Sorry to hear about the nausea:wacko: I guess at least you know you are preggo!!:winkwink: wow it sounds like you have never had trouble getting pregnant! I can relate and that's why I find it difficult now to think that I have to "try" so hard:wacko:
Yes I did go for my tesy and the number was 30 for 7 dpo progesterone:shrug: of course this number means nothing to me so I went on the Internet yesterday and was more confused:shrug: there is so much conflicting info on there on what is normal. My number is certainly in the normal range. I just got an email back from my FS and he said that the number was within range but that he would happily prescribe it for me if I wanted:shrug: Maybe I will wait until I see what happens when I test. When did your start taking yours?

Grey eyes- thanks so much for the information. My FS called me back yesterday and we talked about it. He is still of the belief that no one really knows if it helps but he was happy to prescribe it. I think I will wait to see if I get my BFP before I take it because I think it can screw up your cycles and delay af which I don't want. He said he normally prescribes it to start taking it around cd 20 so 6-7 dpo. If I don't get my BFP this cycle maybe I will try it next cycle. I will make sure it's natural like you said.
As for your ms IKWYM. It's hard to live life feeling sick but it is different than your last which I think is a good sign! I know it will work out for you this time! I also believe that it is in God's hands.
AFM- I feel good and less stressed about things this cycle. I am ready to let it happen when the time is right. Of course I will always do everything in my power to help the process but after that it really is in God's hands. I'm so glad you have stayed in touch. Hopefully soon we can both be talking about pregnancy symptoms!!!

I think you are on the right track! It is best to relax, go with the flow, pitch in where you can--and let God time it perfect!:hugs:

Have you ever thought of trying some acupuncture and/ or herbs? I have been doing it since my mc and it has helped my hormones regulate again:shrug: it sounds like your hormones are out of whack:shrug: Just a thought:winkwink:
