Well I ordered 2 vials of sperm today. There was a sale of sorts at the sperm bank. 25% off total price. Just thinking of a sperm sale would make me giggle if i was in the mood for laughter. My best friend of 30 years called last night and said she was pregnant after trying since her wedding in November. Needless to say last night included tons of crying and 2 desserts from Dairy Queen. Why do some people get to ride on the float while others drag along behind? Ugh..2 chances this month. Heres to hoping...

JandK I do not know why some of us have to struggle so.. if I did I would be a millionaire! Just know you aren't alone. We all have our struggles, just some are more visible than others, and some seem so much larger BabyWhisperer was mentioning how she has had to fight tooth and nail for everything she has achieved, while others just say.. Oh I would like that and voila, it is theirs. Here is hoping that your double dose is what is necessary to make it happen for you this month!

As you said in your last post, if you are not successful, then you are going to adopt, and as an adopted child, there is no greater love than the one I share with my parents. They picked me! They have provided a truly loving family for me and my brother, and I think sometimes the bond between us is stronger than blood. So if that is the route you end up going, it will be just as endearing if not more so!

Hope your finals go well!!!!

I think Chantal was meaning that she was going to NTNP until they were ready to use DE. As DH was too worried about getting pregnant again and then having this issue again. Thing is that just because we are 40-41 doesn't mean that ALL eggs are bad, I think they say that at 40 25% are still great (on average), and then after 42 its like 10% or something? I am not as sure on that number because I was more focused on the 40-41 (since that is my age). Anyway, she showed DH our comments, and that made him realize that it was OK to NTNP, and to let things happen.

Sometimes relaxing and not trying officially is the key to making it happen!

AFM - nothing doing here, just work. I'm going to go to Target after work and get a few things. Oh and I'm going to create an evite for some friends. I want to have a last hurrah girls night before I go back to being in pregnancy mode. So I'm trying to figure out what we can do, I've had suggestions of Hard Rock Casino, trip to the Keys, and dinner and comedy club. I'm like all great ideas, but I was thinking a little more low key.. like a Japanese Hibachi place and then a local bar for drinks afterwards?

Ali- no wild and crazy night out? No drink til you puke? LOL! Low key sounds awesome, but be careful with stuff like sushi as it can be highly toxic. Have fun and have a designated driver, lol!

I love sushi, and Japanese food in general. I'm also taking a friend who joined our company and in doing so I got a referral bonus, so I'm treating her as a thank you for me getting the kick back. The plan is to do this BEFORE I start stimming for the FET, probably the last weekend in April. Doing the hibachi is fun as we get to watch the chef make the food in front of us. They toss things in the air, and you can order fried rice (cooked at the table) and filet mingnon MMMMM. That is usually what I do.. get the lobster and filet mingnon and then a sushi roll with hibachi rice, and a fruity rum drink with an umbrella in it! I'm such a GIRL That would be fun with 6-8 of us!!! Then go to a tiki hut bar on the intercoastal afterwards and have a few drinks and just kick back.

MINI RANT HERE:

So my health insurance company has some flags in their system that make them suddenly auto dial me. I get these calls where they want me to verify my DOB and all this others stuff so they can pigeonhole me as having some sort of ailment. Well each time the calls have started after I needed Lupron. I'm not sure what they think I have but they want me to enrole in some patient support network? WTF does that mean? That I will get MORE calls? She said if I'm uncomfortable giving the information out to her since it was a cold call, I could call into their phone center to verify. I'm like.. and how does that verify that you are who you say you are? Because you answer the phone Cigna? So I say, please take me off your call list as I do not need whatever support you think I need, and she says she can't unless I provide her the information to open my patient record AHHHHHH So today I got 2 calls, and if memory serves me correct they call on average 2-3 times a day. So last time I thought, well I'll call them back and get this stuff to end.. well I was on HOLD for 35 minutes! before I gave up. Like really? You think that is acceptable customer service? AHHHHHHH. So I've programmed my cell phone with their number and now I'll just ignore it forever more If I could figure out how to block it from even ringing that would be even better! OOOHHHH.. I think maybe I can give it a ring tone, and I'll select SILENT That will fix it!!! WOOHOOO!

I think its because lupron is used to treat endometriosis and cancer, neither of which I have, but I'm not willing to get potentially phished if this is some 3rd party by giving out personal identifying information just to get them to stop Am I crazy ???

Angel that is wonderful news!! I am very happy for you!! I knew everything would be good since you had heard the heartbeat on your last scan. Please post a pic of your scan. Congrats on your job offers also! The year of the snake is your year!

Ali I agree with the others. Curb your spending. I have a good feeling that you will be shopping for twins too Have you gone baby shopping with Vladamir yet? That should giveyou your shopping fix even though you won't be the one spending the money.

WE time it just right and still end up having miscarriages or failed ivfs. I am adopted also and I would definately consider adoption if I knew for sure that the biological mom wouldn't change her mind and come back and claim her child.

I am finished spending money until I get the bill for the flooring. Once I see how that all shakes out then I will be able to see what I have left I was blessed with a little extra money to be able to do the floors, but everything seems to have cost more than it should Plus I need to consider that I may very well be spending $3K a month for the next 4 months to keep my little beans from being attacked!

Is it bad that I keep just assuming I'm having twins? Am I going to jinx it? EEK! I just want to have 2!!!

Haven't seen Vlad yet, he isn't sure when he will make the trip across as luck would have it his business is going crazy right now, which is good for him, but not for getting away. He does have more US's to go to and he said he desperately needs to see his eye doctor and dentist too. So I'm sure it will be soon! Ideally for me it won't be until the first week of May. That would be perfect for me. The weekends the rest of April are booked for me!

AHHH.. so this weekend I'm spending Saturday with my Mom then spending Sunday at a low key pool party. ZENNNNNNNNN

OMG did I tell you that when I was at the art festival last weekend we bought this additive that you mix with wine and then freeze, and it makes wine slushies? OMG in a slushie! I tried it and it was pretty good
There were also cranberry vodka slushie recipes and a few others on the box. So I think we will try that at our pool party (which is basically 3-4 girls hanging by the pool).

As you can see I'm making the most of my few weeks here before I go back on the estrogen patch AKA vivelle dot!

I know this spring has been !! We've had below normal temps for weeks.. but I've enjoyed it! Today it was humid.. bleh . I don't think the front is going to do much down here but bring some wain on Sat? I hope the temp fluxuations don't make you sick! That is what always happened to me. So be well!!


AFM.. AF cramps today and light spotting. Right on time I think but I'm still on progesterone? IDK? I guess we'll see?

My body doesn't like humidity. I get joint pain in my hands and fibro flares up in my neck and shoulders. Not fun. We are supposed to get thunderstorms over the weekend. I don't mind the cold but it is murder together with the rain

Yep.. humidity is icky.. that is why I loved Denver so much!
I took the doggies out and it hit me like a wall yuck! It was only 20 mins ago too.. so right around 10pm, should be cool..

I've never spotted on progesterone before, but who knows? Maybe the lupron lessens it's potency

I am off to bed. Was really enoying wearing shorts and tanks tops. Hard to believe his weekend I will be wearing flannel pajamas again. I packed them away! Just changed the sheets a few days ago to cotton. will have to put back on the flannel ones.

Here you go Chantal, it isnt great as the scanner they have is ancient and small, it a RMC specialist through a gynae clinic. I will be transferred to the maternity clinic in a few weeks where they have the nice fancy scanners

Ali... those insurance guys can't do something stupid can they? You know what they are like! Like putting a freeze on your policy until information is submitted? Here in the UK now if you get nuisance calls and you tell them you are not interested and tell them to stop calling they now have to. If they continue to pester you they can be reported and prosecuted . This law came in last year after many years of people campaigning.

Angel. Great news! I was wondering did you disclose to the employers your pregnancy? It is no business of theirs, but wondering I think things will turnaround soon for you. My trick is think positive. Put up an imaginary shield around you so nothing can hurt you. Mind over matter.

Well, they only got 4 semi good eggs out of 10. 2 were a B and B minus and the other were real poor. So he said, even though I responded my quality is less tahn average.

Babywhisperer. Wait to test and take your progesterone. Dont reach any conclusions until you test!

Afm. So I havent ovulated yet. Unless I ovulated at day 9. Very unlike me since I was always so regular. I am so tired, like walking tired and my body hurts., dont know if it is because my office was 90 degrees or if its the metamorphin or something else, but Im so tired I cannot function. I don't have the energy to take my vitamins or tea. Maybe it is emotional? But I have ot ovulated So doc said if I do not ovulate soon to call him for a provera script? So it will trigger af so I can start my next cycle and not miss it because they shut down the lab for a week in June, but that is annoying! I want my body to kick in on its own! Not so it can meet his schedule!

Well thats my mini rant. Im exhausted. Going to work, dragging myself. I hope my trip to San Fran gives me rest and energy. It is for work, but it is not here! Talk to later ladies.

Afm Need some technical help, how do you upload a pic from an iPhone? I got what I think is a faint +. I got up to pee at 3am (nothing new there) and used an Internet cheapie and didn't wait to see the result. I got up at 5am saw the faint + so I took a FRER and got another faint line. Could this still be the trigger? Have beta on Monday so not getting ahead of myself as it could be a chemical

Sams - it is annoying and I felt the exact same way in January.. do you remember? I was so mad that my body wasn't getting back to normal. I had to do the provera too. It is progesterone so you take it for a week -10 days and the withdrawal causes you to have a period which is supposed to jumpstart the cycle. So if that is what is necessary don't hold off!! Ask for the Rx so you don't waste anymore time. That is my humble opinion!!

AFM - uploaded and installed the silent ring tone so I won't be annoyed by Cigna anymore Angel - yes they have a DO NOT CALL list here, but if you are doing business with the company they have the right to call you however if you request that they not call you they shouldn't any more. The problem is that this woman stated she couldn't edit my profile to not call unless I provided her with identifying information!!! I'm like do you think I was born yesterday? I'm not going to provide that over the phone to a cold caller!!! So I think I could complain to the FTC, and I think the reward is $500 per call? If they're calling me 2-3 times a day, that is money in my pocket! If they persist, I will consider doing that.

IMO I wouldn't have disclosed that you had another interview I would have just asked for 24-48 hours to consider it, as you had to speak with your DH, yada yada.
