Why are you down? That sounds good right?
I'm not sure of the grading, but honestly as long as they are still going strong I'd be happy!

Hi ladies,
Totally new to all of this so still working my around it all. I have spent the last 10 months stalking these pages and reading about you all and now finally I wanted to join in.
I am turning 43 in November and really late getting to all this TTC stuff! Had an accidental (but lovely) BFP late last year that sadly ended up as a MMC - possibly the loneliest feeling ever, but it completely turned my life around.
Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello ladies,

I hope everyone is well. I woke up this morning with lite pink spotting and I hope everything is ok. I called doctor and he told me to come in so I did and repeated bloodwork for HCG and progestrone. He also gave me a sonogram but was to early to see anything so I am a little nerves. The spotting has stopped and I have no cramping but I am so worried. He talked to me about ectopic pregnancies and miscarriage which was a depressing convo but I guess I needed to know. Just wanted to give and update on my progress so far.

Ok ladies the doctors office just called and my resolution for HCG went from 91 to 335.5 and my progesterone went from a 11.5 to 12.5. Iam so excited and filled with joy. He asked me to have them repeat again next Friday.....does anyone know why the third check?

They like to see your HCG double every 48 hours and 3 tests are normal. Have they suggested progesterone supplementation? Your progesterone is on the low side, it might be a good idea to ask about it? I think the lower limit is 10, and ideally it should be between 20-40. Your HCG looks good! Congrats!

Thank you so much!!! I didnt see this suggestion for progesteron supplementation but I saw my doctor today and he is suppose to call me with HCG and Progesterone results today and I will ask about that. I am a little worried because I had lite pink spotting this morning.:sad2:

Brighteyez, pink spotting is normally a good sign of implantation so please try not to panic. Bubs implants and burrows throughout the first few weeks, deeper and deeper into your uterine wall to get comfortable. In fact, pink spotting is normally my first sign of a BFP so try and relax.

How is everybody else doing?

Sorry but it's a quick one from me. I'm so restless I can hardly sit to type! Well, I've been cursed with restless legs syndrome throughout this whole pregnancy but this past few days I've also developed a bit of PGP, really low pressure and Braxton hicks galore, all day. Baby has significantly dropped in the past week so I'm kind of hoping he/she will arrive early. I would love it if it was h/s hurrying along but I get the feeling that this one will stay warm in my uterus until my planned induction at 39 weeks :-/

xoxo

How do I convince my DH (retired ARMY of 20 years) that it does not make him less of a man to accept that he has low testosterone and low sperm count? his boys are all strong and perfect but he has very little of them, we are on our 18th month TTC. UGHHHHH stubborn man, lol

ME 38
DH 40 (no kids)
DD 21 & DD 8 (first marriage)

I'm single so I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but there are ways to improve your chances. I think you'll have to have a heart to heart with him and ask him if he really wants kids, if so then he'll have to accept that he needs to make some changes.

- supplements to improve sperm count
- boxers
- possibly medications to improve testosterone level?
- IUIs to get the best ones into the uterus, and if the count is really low they might take multiple samples over time and freeze them to get a larger number for the IUI.
- IVF where they collect eggs from you and inject one good sperm into each egg to fertilize the egg. Then you only need a few good ones, say 20-30.

Good luck!

Angel is right spotting early is normal, it can mean implantation or it can be a sign of low progesterone levels, or possible ectopic. Lets keep our fingers crossed that its good news!
How many weeks were you at the ultrasound? Did they see anything in the uterus? By 5 weeks the Dr should be able to see the gestational sac, and by the end of the 6th week a heartbeat should be seen.

MommaNam..

I took comid one cycle and hated it! My side effects only lasted while I was taking the pills and I felt normal once I stopped them after the 5 days. Ovulation can be painful, I went to the ER once because I thought my appendix was rupturing only to be told I was ovulating :haha: I'd been on the BCP for 10 years and hadn't ovulated for that period of time, so when I finally did I thought I was dying  Subsequent cycles were not nearly as bad!
Hopefully you were successful, but if not, I would ask your Dr about femara. It has a good success rate, and doesn't have as many side effects

Thank you Angel,

I relaxed and chilled after I read your message. On Friday my HCG is 3813 and Progestrone 15.5. This made me feel a little better but I will have another sonogram on Wednesday to see where the baby is and its ok. The sonogram on Friday didn't show anything. But I am feeling a little better today!!! Thanks for your encouraging words. Will keep you posted.
