I've been lurking. Ttc for the first time and just turned 37. I did freeze my eggs 2 years ago so I am, however, knowledgeable about fertility drugs and the first half of the IVF process! Hoping I won't need my frozen eggs!

I was hoping to try last month but I had a weirdly short 23 day cycle. Not sure if that was from going off bc several months prior or just random.

New here. Just got some sad news from the lab...4 months late. Could use a point to the right forum, if this is not the best one?

I'm 35 years old, and TTC #1 for awhile now. Finally got the courage to go to the gyno and ask some questions. We ran some tests and I was told everything looked "perfect". Well I called to follow up and ask what next steps were, because I am still not pregnant - and they called me and told me my AMH was low. Needless to say this is a shock. It feels like the worst news I could possibly get. Somehow I am at just .26 I'm scared. I am looking for some stories of success even with such a low number, or support and honesty if this means it is hopeless. I'm so sad.

I was low as well, acupuncture made my number almost triple. I had my son by IUI first try and after 3 IUIs for my 2nd baby I had success my first time with IVF. I did acupuncture for 3mos before each. Stay the course, it happens all the time...it's quality over quantity. They said I had a 1 in 10 chance to conceive with IUI and it worked 1st attempt...but not so for my 2nd. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the reply. I love to see that you have had success with IUI and IVF even if it took a few tries. I will look into acupuncture. I have an appointment with a specialist on Monday but it helps to chat with others who have been through this. It's funny. We were just casually trying for...years. Finally it seemed like I should at least look into why it hadn't happened for us yet. I never realized how badly I wanted this until it seemed impossible. Fortunately I am stubborn as hell and don't give up easily - onward we go. Thank you for the encouragement.

Just curious if any of you have been in my position.

Cd2 LH was about 27 and fSH was almost 30.

I want to cry. I don't have PCOS. I'm 38. HSG shows no blockages....
I still make functional cysts that are about 9mm, we've seen 2 in 9 months but don't know if i'm actually ovulating yet or if those cysts are just trying to fake us out. Cycles are irregular 24-55 days.

Please tell me your outcomes and process of getting there (whether successful for conceiving or not)

I need hope.

Hi, I don't have any outcomes to share with you yet - because I'm brand new to being aware of my fertility challenges, and at this time it appears we have different ones, but I wanted to offer you encouragement. Don't give up, stay the course as others have told me. I wish you happiness and the pregnancy you are after

hope imat the correct thread...ive had a tubal reversal in 2012, at time of reversal both tubes were clear now after ahycosy test my left tube is clear and right tube is completly blocked....ive tried all natural methods and nothing has happened...now considering taking clomid or maybe go straight to ivf???

hoping I can get some advice and support here....

Thank you very much. I was 5 and 6dp5dfet, today I am 7dp5dfet so pretty early. I have pics of darker test from today but I can't up load them. Keep getting and "too large" error.

Dear All

I am 35+ year old woman. I am trying to conceive for past few months. My doctor calls me for sonography . For past 4-5 months my ovulation used to occur on 15 / 16 of the cycle as confirmed by my doctor ( via sonography)


Aug -26 days - Ovulation confirmed on 15 day
Sep - 26 Days - Ovulation confirmed on 15 day
Oct - 26 Days - Ovulation confirmed on 15 day
Nov - 30 days - Ovulation confirmed on 16 day

Now in this cycle between Nov and Dec I am on my 21 day but still doctor has not confirmed the ovulation. Is this a reason to worry. Please advise..
