Ali, its still early days! Patience!
AFM- I'm sitting in the lab waiting area in the middle of my glucose tolerance test. My starting number was just barely above normal (for non-pregnant) but I'm not happy with any sort of increase. Of course, as my mom says, normal for pregnant might be a little higher than when not preggers. With my last they said I was on the high side of normal but not high enough for gest. Diabetes. I wonder how this one will go? I'm hoping the tech will share my 2 hour results- she was good and told me what my start number was.
*sigh* now I'm just bored, bored, bored and feeling gross from all the sugar in the yucky drink!
Hang in there. I've had friends who've taken that test and it sounds unpleasant. One of them tested a little high, so she cut out bread and pasta and it came down dramatically. Also try adding cinnamon to anything carb-y, as it lessens the impact of carbs. I hope it goes fast for you!
Coy, that receptionist sounds like an idiot. I would have asked if it was her first day, I have little patience on a good day. Were you able to rest?

I get home at 8ish and he is passed out cold with all his clothes on. I called one of his friends and asked how he got this way. He told me everything was very mellow until the cocktail reception. They all got too much sun on the course, not enough water and drank a couple of drinks at the reception and it hit them hard. So dh was in no condition to
