We usually just get each other a card
I'm getting him a dart board. He's been after one for ages and I keep telling him he's not allowed one haha. I keep saying things like, we'll discuss it when we have a bigger house, and there's nowhere to put it. I hope it's going to be a nice surprise for him

I have the same rule. But the. Oh became smarter than me and bought a free standing dart board.
Well since we have no money (lots on credit card and in overdraft and about 5p in the joint) we will have a meal. It was our anniversary last week anyway so it's not too bad.
Well we were supposed to be going out for a meal and going to the cinema but I am in bed with a sickness but so it's all been cancelled
I made my husband his gift. Something I usually do, but this Valentines I went above what I normally do.
This is what I made him:

I bought the chest and stained it, then terribly painted Happy Valentines Day on the front. I couldn't find my stencils

And on the inside of the chest it was full of these handmade envelopes that all had different scenarios for when to open them.
Like, "Open when it's Valentines day" "Open when You're Happy" etc...
And inside each envelope is something to match each scenario. So far he's opened three envelopes, the Valentines one, the "Just for fun" one and the when you're happy one.
He loves it very much!
