Thanks ladies. I know it’s selfish to feel this way when there’s so many more worse things going on at the moment. I just love Christmas so much, and just socialising in general, I hate how different it is!

Don't beat yourself up about how "selfish" it is! Yes there are a lot of people worse off than we are but their suffering doesn't make your own depression any less real. Feeling down is not selfish.

I feel you Kirsty. I have a mixture one minute I'm sad about it all then my excitement comes back. We're all here if ever you need to vent.

I am gutted no Christmas meals with friends, cannot find any local grottos that aren't farms. It does feel rubbish sometimes.

We popped to Asda and looked at some Christmas foods as we went round. It was crazy busy though so we just wanted to get out. All the online slots have sold out now too eeeek

I dont think its selfish, your feelings are perfectly valid and just because someone might have it worse it doesn't mean you're not entitled to feel down about the way things are.

Watched Christmas with the Kranks last night. Bought the vary a Christmas sleep bag thing today

I watched this for the first time the other night I quite enjoyed it

think we are going to watch nativity rocks tonight we haven’t saw this one. We love the first and second but the third we found a bit meh so see how this one goes

Oh yes Bad Mom's is a must too. There's a few we've started introducing ds2 to, but those remain firmly on the "just us" list so far haha
