what Christmassy Thing Have You Done Today?

Ordered m and s snow globe gins for dd's teacher and ta. Also ordered some bits from matalan-unicorn game like buckaroo, l.o.l. cookie mix for stocking, bits for dh.

Saw we had mince pies and Christmas puddings in at work. Was tempted to get some just because but resisted :haha:

We got the music for DD1's holiday spirit squad dances so we listened to them. She's dancing to the mouse king (kind of a rock carol of the bells music) and Jing a Ling. That really got us excited for Christmas!

Ds and I have begun guessing what the Aldi and John Lewis ads will be about this year - how has Kevin the Carrot survived the year...

I was looking at some Christmas stocking fillers online but think I'm going to take the chance and see what I can find in the shops when I go shopping on the 5th.

I booked our Christmas Santa trip. We had to cancel last years weekend and quite honestly I think Ds is at the 'he can't be real/better pretend just in case' phase so I don't want to miss this last opportunity. I've gone for the mid week 2 night this time as I'm working most weekends through December - so hope it happens this time.

Sooo exiting booking all the Xmas events !

I am waiting for our local farm to release their tickets . It was fantasic last year and the santa was the best one we have ever seen !

Booked to go and see some festive lights at a local country park (£45 for the four of us seems expensive but hopefully it will feel magical and christmassy)

I know I already have a notebook, by my sister has made these for me, her, mum. They're soo cute.

Love the Christmas list books! Even better when they have been home made!

My wax melt advent calender arrived with a free snap bar of one of the scents in the calender so I've had a sniff of that haha

Bought a ridiculously expensive fidget advent calendar for the girls to share.

Been looking at Heeleys too. Tempted to order those soon

Ds started his Christmas list, nothing extravagant this year so far, a 3D moon light and and air hockey game. Nothing from the girls yet but they are teenagers and like a few bits and money, I don't imagine this year will be different.

I've done nothing yet besides plan the house renos and cleaning/painting that I want done before the holidays. I'm not even sure we will be able to have any family here. Our thanksgiving is this weekend and our government just announced yesterday that we have to remain within our household ONLY for contacts from Friday at 6pm until Monday at 11:59pm due to covid-19.

Oh no that's such a shame you might not be able to celebrate with family. Everyone missed so much last year and its just going on and on.
