I was planning to put him in the tree to watch for santa, but MIL moved him night before last and put him there. So he is looking at the nativity set, which has no baby until Christmas.

Our elf has now left the building. (currently shoved in DH coat pocket). He left the girls their Christmas Eve box and a letter. My two loved his adventures and already asked when he will be back.

ours left a note saying goodbye and a plate for Santa's treats and a milk bottle !. I will actually miss doing this. DD1 has absolutely loved it.. roll on next year.

Ours is still by the fire waiting for santa to pick him up on the way !
