What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

Someone in my work who cuts their nails loudly every week at the desk next to me. it makes me wanna vom!

IDK if i put that on this thread or a diff one but i know this feeling all too much, i said one day im gonna wait to hear the 'clip' and cover my eye quickly and go OWWW lol

Loud, sticky chewing.

DH was doing it earlier with a mouthful of coleslaw. He was making the most revolting wet chewing sounds... I had to leave the room!

my OH is the same with crisps, esp when we have no telly on, it literally drives my mad i actually want to pull my hair out!! then he gives my dog one and he sits there slapping his lips cos he has bits of crisp stuck somewhere and obv being a dog he cant actually pick it out!! we dont like to feed our dogs things other than dog food and treats, but OH makes the exception just to annoy me some more

It has probably been said before, but people without kids who park in the parent and child spaces. As I have a large car, I have to park there, or I can't get DS out of the car. I never considered parking there before DS, even when heavily pregnant. What is wrong with these people! It is about the only thing that really winds me up.

People suggesting im completely stupid and not watching my child and feel the need to butt in and point out the obvious. Will give an example- LO running around in the chemist today pulling things off the shelves while I went after her and replaced the items and told her not to. Whilst the chemist lady could most probably see I wasn't having a great time trying to keep my unruly 2 yr old under control pointed out "just make sure she doesn't run out of the door" whilst glaring at me. I just stopped turned around, sighed and said "yes thank you". I think I am more than capable of envisaging that she might run out of the door in to the road without some sticky beak thinking I needed to be told! It just really annoys me to be told things like this like im child that wont have fore thought this possibility and needed telling. Im her mother for goodness sake and her safety is my 1st thought in every moment. Ughhh *gets off high horse and takes a chill pill*.

^^^ yeah that annoys me too!!

"Oh just becareful she doesn't bang her head, becareful if she falls, don't let her go near the fire"

Really? I didn't realise because my actual intention was the drop kick her directly into the fire.!!!

 That made my day.

Yep, totally annoying when people butt in like that.

my MIL and SIL are the worst for this they act like i left the house without any bloody essentials drives me up the bloody wall and that im never watching my child she could be getting into all this dangerous situations. The most annoying was at her house and DD1 had just started walking so naturally exploring she only ever got as far as the hallway and she would always shout to her husband bring that baby back here or keep an eye on her-even though i was sitting right next to her watching DD1 toddling did she think i would just let her disappear somewhere:wacko:

on another note i have come to the conclusion my Husband doesnt know what a bin is. He always leaves empty juice/milk/coke bottle on the side EVERY TIME! he will feed the dog and leave the can on the side. he will rip his letters open and leave the envelopes on the side. The wash bin is just outside the bathroom however his clothes are always on the floor of the bathroom or his new favourite is taking his t shirt off once in from work and leaving it on the floor in front of the washing machine:growlmad:

Our husbands must be twinsies :dohh: :haha: It's so obnoxious! :growlmad:

People who drive while: picking their nose, cleaning their ears [saw this one this morning ], putting make up on, shaving, texting and worst of all talking on their cell with it held out [on speaker] thinking that this is enough to abide by the hands free rule... um if it's in your hand, whether up to your ear or not, it's NOT hands free :dohh: :haha:

My Dh does this too, but he's a farmer so a lot of times his clothes can be covered in manure and all manner of disgusting farm stuff, so I really don't want them going beyond the laundry room. I get annoyed that he doesn't just throw them in the washer and wash them when they are clearly that gross, though. How hard is it, really? I end up having to ask why they are on the floor smelling up the laundry room, and then he realizes how bad they smell. He doesn't smell it when he gets home, because he's used to it from working in it all day. But he smells it later. So you'd think he'd catch on to just wash them so the room doesn't stink. LOL

yeah mine works in a garage so can well be covered in grease and oil but no he just comes home hot and sweaty from being in his overalls so just takes it off once in. wow manure covered i suppose i would expect those straight in the machine:haha:

Liars, rude people, people with no manners, leaving the toilet seat up (the arguments I've had about tthis is crazy).
Selfish parkers you know the ones that take up 3 spaces on the road with a tiny car..
TV shows like x factor, the voice etc they just annoy me. I'm done with them now they churn out the same old crap every year.
Hubby balling his socks up to put them in the wash. why why why?
And probably a million other things! :haha:

People who don't put shopping trolleys back in the trolley park and instead just leave them all over the car park! It's not that far to walk and seriously, just have some consideration and stop being so freaking lazy!!

This didn't happen so much in the UK but now I've moved to Australia it's a common occurrence. Not sure if it's just the part of oz I'm in or what but I was shocked when I got here.

It used to bug me big time too and I would always go the extra way to put the cart back but since having a kid, admittedly, I've only put them back about 1/2 the time. It's always depending on how far away it is as I dont want to leave her in the car alone. I've actually taken to parking next to or as close to them as I can so it's not an issue but it's not always possible :dohh:

Oh sorry I wasn't meaning to have a go at you there. At least you have a legitimate reason, I've seen single men casually load up their cars then pushing the trolleys next to someone else's parked car and leave! With no regard for other's property whatsoever. The trolleys could have rolled into the parked cars or been blown into them.

When people refer to my LO as a "little mouse". I don't know why but I find it really annoying. She is a not a mouse. I hate mice.

People who put dirty cups/plates etc on the side next to the dishwasher. It takes 2 seconds more to open it and put the dirty stuff inside!!
