What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

It used to bug me big time too and I would always go the extra way to put the cart back but since having a kid, admittedly, I've only put them back about 1/2 the time. It's always depending on how far away it is as I dont want to leave her in the car alone. I've actually taken to parking next to or as close to them as I can so it's not an issue but it's not always possible :dohh:

Oh sorry I wasn't meaning to have a go at you there. At least you have a legitimate reason, I've seen single men casually load up their cars then pushing the trolleys next to someone else's parked car and leave! With no regard for other's property whatsoever. The trolleys could have rolled into the parked cars or been blown into them.

No worries, I didn't take it personal. I actually couldn't agree more!! Esp when it's just a single person with zero excuse to take it just a little farther to keep it from hitting parked cars, or my personal favourite, rolling out into the middle of the road :dohh:

Ooooooohhhh I've just thought of something else. It's more a person than a thing (naughty me!)
I have this friend who ALWAYS refers to her daughter on Fb as my eldest but here other daughter by her name. She is only friends with people that know her and her children and I just don't get why she does it. We all know what her child's name is! It drives me crazy. argh. Sorry!

Compulsive liars and attention seekers. Nosey people. My life is mine and if I wanted someone to know something I'd tell them myself so it annoys me when they creep to find things out, or someone else I trusted tells them. People with no manners - If I let someone go when its my right of way when I'm driving and they don't say thanks it really irritates me. The same if I hold the door open for someone or something.
I agree with the shows like Xfactor and BGT. I hate them! Same with Towie.
Junk mail. I get so much junk mail its unbelievable. After a 2 week holiday I couldn't open the front door for it all piled up and it's always the same things! Total waste of paper :/

With the shopping cart thing....i live in an EXTREMELY windy city...so putting the cart back is a must cause i totally fear of the wind shoving the cart into someones car! Or worse my car! I park pretty far so im away from other cars and carts!

OH leaving the fridge door open and staring vacantly into it until the sensor alarm goes off indicating door is still open. The thing you're looking for is right in front of you, now please close the bloody door. I don't like all the cool air escaping, so OCD about it!

 my dh is the same. Or he just swings the door shut but it's doesn't close all the way and he never double checks. I've come in to the kitchen hours later to find the door ajar and the food inside is getting warm :grr:

Me: ....what's that dinging sound? Is it your phone? The TV....:dohh: Honey you left the fridge open again!!

My OH does that too. Or he'll leave the fridge open while he's cooking, and when I close it, will say he's not finished in it!!! Why not take out everything you need, or just open and close it when you need something else?!

Glad I'm not the only one who has issues with the fridge! Xx

I did this for the first time with the freezer not too long ago, thought I had the drawer shut all the way, but I guess not....you wouldn't believe how long it took me to figure out what the heck the dinging sound was coming from LOL! I was walking around the whole living room and kitchen trying to figure it out, because neither DH or I ever do that. I think it was the first time I even realized the freezer HAD and alarm for that reason!

I HATE the fridge door sensor!! It is my mission in life to get my shopping unpacked into the fridge without it going off... one day :haha:

 admittedly i actually do this.... il leave the door wide open whilst im cooking and complain when OH shuts it when he comes into the kitchen

this may explain why we currently have a bottle of calpol completely frozen stuck to the back of the fridge

I don't know wy but it really annoys me when people have adjusted age tickers for abbies who weren't premature. Like x is 4 years 3 months, adjusted age 4 years 2 months 2 weeks... really?!

Really Eleanor Ace? I have never seen that, it'd probably really tick me off a bit.

Yeah, I've seen it quite a few times, althoug not so much recently- maybe people can feel my silent rage :haha:

Lol I've got one. Mine daughter was born at 36+3, so technically a late premie.... thinking I should change it now, though. Don't want to tick anyone off :winkwink:

If your daughter was pre-term (before 37 weeks), she is a preemie. Don't feel pressured to change that! My son was only 33 weeks, so not a super early preemie, but that doesn't change the fact that he was preterm. If say, your baby was born at 38 weeks (like in Eleanor Ace's example) that would NOT be premature.

This. Your daughter was premature, and it would be reasonable to expect her gestation to have an impact. What bugs me is when people do adjusted ages for children born at a gestation where a pediatrician wouldn't talk about their adjusted age vs actual age; it partly annoys me because I can't see the point of adjusting for a child who was born a few days early and partly it annoys me because it seems to downplay the fact that children who are born prematurely (before 37 weeks) usually do need their adjusted age taken into consideration.
But like I say I know this is a totally irrational pet peev (since it doesn't hurt me in anyway whether people choose to adjust or not!)!
