What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

People that constantly interrupt you and don't let you finish your sentence.
People that let their pit bull run off towards you and your toddler in the park and say "ooh he won't bite, don't worry". Really? I use a pit bull as an example as that is what happened today.

I hate when people let their dogs run like this around small kids! Just because they are friendly and nice with their owners doesn't mean they will react that way to every stranger they encounter!

I HATE when my husband (or people in general..I've seen a lot of people do it) goes to the kitchen to get another soda..but leaves the empty can of soda he just drank on the table instead of just taking it to the kitchen to throw away. I don't understand..your going to the kitchen anyway!!!!

My dh is so guilty of this

I hate when people listen to their music up really loud, so I can hear it through their headphones. Drives me insane  Same goes for those who just play it out loud on their phone or something.

when people say 'oh i need a day/night off' when talking about their babies/kiddies.
im sorry if this offends anyone but it really gets me, why have kids if you want a day off. you have a day off from a job, not a lifestyle choice..
fair enough going out for the night but please don't call it a day off!!

people who call their baby daddy a 'sperm donor' bcos he doesnt want to be involved, yes he is a waste of space, but next time you open your legs for someone you arent in a relatonship with, think of the consequences..

there is a girl i have on FB who annoyed me with both of the above points, she has been out every singe weekend since her baby was born, shes a single SAHM on benefits, so last week her status read 'i cant wait to see so-and-so, and wipe the floor with her'
yes she was on about going to a scratty pub and fighting a 30 odd year old woman, i think its time people stop spitting kids out, getting drunk in the local pub, causing arguments then writing about it all over facebook, before claiming you are the best mother in the world..

phew!! again sorry if i offended anyone, just my opinion!

^ That's how to make people feel awful. I wish I could have one day away from my lifestyle and not be a mum just to relieve myself. I felt guilty for thinking and saying that until my counsellor said it was perfectly normal. Don't judge who you don't know.

OT:
OH leaving crumbs on the side
OH eating with his mouth open/slopping his chops
OH leaving his phone playing (streaming) ALL night while in bed and he's sleeping
OH sat with his headphones on while I'm talking to him being ignorant, so I need to repeat myself constantly
People who don't listen to a full sentence before butting in

Agree with Smartie, you might not like the term 'day off' but don't judge all those that use it when you don't know their particular circumstances. Incidentally, I can't stand the term 'baby daddy', the total disregard for grammar makes my teeth itch!

I know a woman who was in a very committed 6 year marriage and she got pregnant. They had been trying for just over a year. Once she got that positive pregnancy test he freaked and left her, pregnant and alone. We call him a sperm donor because he doesn't deserve any better title... Just saying.

I'd love a day off, and my daughters dad has often been referred to as a sperm donor (not just by me) considering he hasn't wanted to know for 16 months!

My dad and brothers peeing and not wiping the toilet seat after them if they've missed! Spewww :(

Oh the pee thing is the worst, or when women hoover over the toilet [public restrooms] and don't wipe the seat down after! :dohh:

Never mind sperm donor, my ex used to call his (awful) mother "the incubator". Used to make me giggle :haha:

:hugs:
It is perfectly normal. If you've never been there then it's easier to judge than try to understand, unfortunately.

Ty, Kate :)

People making cups of tea or coffee who put the milk in BEFORE the water! There is no infusion time!
The word "bae" being thrown around like it's an alternative for "babe" when in fact it's an alternative word for sh*t.

Neighbours hurling glass bottles into the recycling bin from an apparently great height at 11.30 pm. Obviously get through a lot of wine though, the lucky buggers.

no im not saying having a 'day off' is a bad thing, i know its perfectly normal. and im not saying its bad to go out and enjoy your self, i just personally don't like the term 'day off' like your pulling a sicky from work...

I understand not liking the term 'day off' but I would love one lol!

For me its like when mum or dad says I cant go out tonight i am baby sitting. Not sure why but that phrase annoys me?!

Wow :nope:

As a single mum to a 14month old who's attended her every single day from when she was a 5week old embryo I'd LOVE a day off from my Mummy role. It's a choice of words, if you prefer I'll call it 'free time, me time, alone time, spa day, whatever. Bottom line is I'm absolutely exhausted, and if having a day off from being a mummy where she's in proper supervised care is going to make me feel better I'm going to call it what I like !

I equally call my little girls dad a sperm donor because of what he did to me. Together for over 8 years, NTNP for 3 years, TTC for 3 years, wedding booked and paid for, and the day of 'our' BFP he went to work and never came home, I've never seen him since. He never checked she was ok when she was born, never checked if I was alive even, he doesn't even know her birthday. turns out he was married with kids all along anyway and I was 'the other woman' and never even knew. Tell me one good reason why he deserves to be referred to as anything other than sperm donor?!

Maybe you didn't mean it how it came across (perhaps you did actually reading it back), but it was a really good post to make people feel shit. Stand in my shoes before you judge, not everyone of us led back and thought for England when we conceived :nope:
