What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

I have something to add. My husband does the cooking for us because he loves doing it, and I am thankful. However, any time he cooks pasta, he cooks THE WHOLE BOX for just the two of us. Every time I see him doing it, I ask him if we will eat that much, and he says "I want to make it into lunches." Then, every single dang time, after the meal he will decide he doesn't want to make it into lunches and throws away the extra pasta. It's so wasteful and it drives me bonkers.

This is the story of my life, lol

Haha I will add my Dh to the list of men who cook the whole box of spag. And what happens after? It sits in the fridge for days til I throw it away. Every. Single. Time. :dohh:

...So I'm the only person that cooks the whole box of spaghetti and it actually all gets eaten?

When I am out with my toddler I teach him to walk nearest the wall when we are near roads but a passing adult will insist they have to walk against the wall side! Hello! My son is near the wall because I want him away from the dangerous road! You are an adult, go the other side duh!

Nope, you're not alone, we fix the whole box every time, but I do get sick of eating it for days until its gone. But at least I don't have to cook those days, lol.

People who don't wipe down the kitchen surfaces after I've just cleaned! Crumbs everywhere infuriate only me apparently!

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone puts dirty dishes on the counter 2 INCHES AWAY FROM THE DISHWASHER! I haaaate seeing dirty dishes on counters! It's gross and unsanitary... might as well take 1 second to put them in the dishwasher!!! ARGH! /in-laws rant

 Agree. I'm okay with them being in the sink until I can load the dishwasher, since I run it almost every day. But not even getting the dish into the sink drives me nuts.

Yes, I agree. As long as they are in the sink at least, it's not that bad.

My husband is infamous for this. I'll always say "Why don't you put those in the dishwasher?" and he will say "I don't know if the dishes in the dishwasher are clean or dirty."

Well...open the dishwasher and see. I have been trying to get him to do this for four years and it just doesn't stick.

I had this solved for a good few years, lol! We had one of those clean/dirty magnets on the front that you just flip over so it tells you if they are clean or dirty. But that doesn't work anymore because the kids either won't leave it on the dishwasher, or they flip it around all the time. So I just took it off for now.

My pet peeve is being hounded by a beggar in the supermarket car park after you are worn out from doing a big shop in the supermarket!

Can I help you with your trolley? NO YOU CANNOT, I KNOW YOU WANT TO RUN OFF WITH MY £1 IN THE TROLLEY!!!!!

Yesterday I had this happen again, a clearly alcoholic drunk beggar following me while I wheeled my trolley to my car, she smelled of booze and was in my toddlers face fussing over him and at the same time my mum who was with me came over ill (She has lung cancer and was out of breath)

While doing this it was clear the woman was after money, without actually asking, was telling me how she can't afford cigarettes, very persistant and also asking me what me and my sons name was grrr etc.

Really felt like telling her to go away, my son hated her too, kept turning his face away. I am too bloody polite! Should have told her to F**K Off! Lol

Just thought of another lol.

I hate this 1 particular cashier at the supermarket! She can see we have a massive load of shopping but insists on giving 1 bag at a time! Not even 2, I have to keep saying "More bags please!" about 10 bloody times, you would think she would "Get the message" after asking for the umpteenth time!!!! But no!

She is the only one that does this! None of the others do it! Grrr I actively try and avoid her if I can!

we just moved ours to the side of the fridge...but my kid is still pretty short!

Yes!! How hard is it to look and see if they're clean or dirty? If clean, put them away or dirty, put in dishwasher!

I tried using those magnets, but the in-laws are still lazy as heck and put them in there. :dohh:

I just recently taught them to turn off lights in rooms when they exit. Seriously, who needs kids when you have children as in-laws?

When people walk in a shop and stop just inside the door.. I've lost count how many times i've walked into people and then they turn and glare at me

I do not like shoes on the chairs ,tables, sofas beds, and bench tops etc. No wonder things get dirty.

My big thing recently is people not holding the door open. They will see me struggle to open the door with baby in her pushchair and just stand watching. They are right there next to the door waiting for me to open it, why the hell can't they just open the damn thing it would be quicker and easier for us all!

Going around with a pushchair really shows you the generosity in some people, and how some people just ignore or just stare and watch.

Truth

one time I was leaving my apartment with LO and had him in the car seat, his stroller, diaper bag, and of course my purse and there was a few guys sitting on the first floor balcony. And they all just watched me struggle. I just yelled 'don't mind me, just sit there staring and enjoying your Saturday morning hangovers' :)
