I have a tomy one which i find really uncomfortable.
receintly bought a kari-me and cant explain how brilliant they are!
would recommend it to anyone.

i have a ring sling and baby loves it. Note to those who mentioned ring slings earlier - baby doesnt have to be in the cradle position in a ring sling - mine never is. He alwys sits up. Check out various films on youtube by

I want to get one like the close carrier though that has 2 straps as now LO is getting bigger my back can ache.

my question is close carrier or hug-a-bub?

The head support did it for me - I can really bend forward without Jacks head moving - even now!!! I wait until he is asleep then tuck his head in, its brilliant!
I can't comment on other slings head support, but noticed they didn't mention it on their websites.

Both my slings (beige+blue) are from www.babysense.co.za
I am very happy with them as Skyler loves sleeping in them or being carried in them.They are both ring slings which are great for adjustment as the baby grows and I lose weight (hopefully). I have spent many night with Skyler in a sling to put him to sleep when he is overstimulated or just plain cranky. Works beautifully.
