What the heck... are all doctors this negative? Update...

honey I am so very sorry. I don't even know what to say. :( I really hope that someday you can try again and succeed. And if I were you I would go and slap the taste out of that rude dr's mouth. Or at least go show her the blood test and ask if she's satisfied. >.<

This article says they can help you with it.....

Didn't want to r&r. Prayers for you....

Doctors won't normally test you until you have missed a period - purely 'cos they would spend a fortune on tests if they did so!
My first test via the doctor (at 4 weeks, 5 days) came back inconclusive and when I asked about it, they told me their tests were cheaper and less sensitive than even the shops own brand.
If you have a BFP on a home test, just wait a week or so then hand in another sample to your GP.
Good luck

I am thinking of you. I hope it all works out for you !

I know a loss is still a loss and that never makes it easier, I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks but maybe you can find peace in knowing that you CAN get pregnant and you will go on to have a baby :) After I lost mine I was devastated but I was anxious to be a mother so when you feel better try again :)

Oh sweetie you've had a rough few days :hugs:
What were your HCG levels exactly? x

So sorry sweetie. If it helps, I have a friend with graves that had a beautiful little girl. Although her pregnancy was hard, her daughter came out fine. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope everything works out for you for your next cycle. :hugs:

Hovering around 200. I'm going tomorrow for one more just to see if it's going up.

I really really hope tomorrow you get better news! FX'd and tons of prayers!

I've got my fingers crossed for you sweetie. I know it's hard but try and think positively !

hey hun... Hang in there. Everything will work out in the end.

I hate my doctor, but I have a lovely nurse so she takes care of my pregnancy bits for me. She herself had the experience with a negative DOCTOR of being told she wasn't pregnant and her son's in his 20's now........ despite the fact the tests have always been negative she always told me to come back in a week to test again if my af hasn't appeared. I've only had to see her twice and one of those was with a positive home preg test. She said she doesn't think the tests they are issued with are very good, but there wasn't much she could do because her collegues didn't want to mess around getting them changed. They are clearblue at the docs and need a minimum 50 hcg to pick up pregnancies she told me, but the problem was not all pregnancies carry that amount at the times the test is taken. They should use more sensitive tests. :growlmad:

Good luck, I hope your HCG levels have risen and if my hubby had laughed at me during such I time i'd slap the bugger silly. He was as upset as I was when we had the chemical however.
Men can be insensitive, it varies. I hope it goes well tomorrow hun x
