Whats a chemical pregnancy?

I keep hearing this but not sure what it means, is it a false BFP?

from what i gather it is like a normal pregnancy to start off with but it kind of doent implant properly or something and your lines get fainter till eventually you get a bfn and bleed as you would a period.?? feel free to correct me anyone!

Chemical pregnancy is the term given to any pregnancy that ends before the 6 week mark, for various reasons, it just doesn't work and it's just something that happens naturally.

Usually, it'll happen around the time of the due period, sometimes a little later, and sometimes goes un noticed and is mostly noticed nowadays because pregnancy tests are so sensitive and can be used before the missed period.
