What's on the table for Easter dinner?

Were going to my OHs grandmas house. Theres too many of us for a sit down meal so theres always a HUGE buffet, i just sit next to the array of desserts of course!!!!

I was gonna make lamb but then my parents decided to come so them,me&Lola, my sister and her family are all going to a restaurant for dinner.

It might be total turture but atleast I won't have to clean up

and you won't set off any fire alarms that way

Thinking back now....lamb?! What was I thinking? Do I really need a repeat of that poor burnt chicken at Christmas that gave its life just to end up in the bin?

 Amy! Guess it will be a Christmas you will always remember.

Hubby making roast chicken dinner with roasties and veggies :)
He marinated the chicken with dark chocolate, sage and seasoning, smells so so good.
I am too knackered to get off the sofa and feel like heffalump LOL

Lemon tart for pud.

Going to my parents house
Baked ham (my mom makes the best!)
potato casserole
tomato pie (sounds weird but I make it and it is really good!)
a big salad with all kinds of toppings
lots of chocolate for dessert

  Yep! And not just because it was Lola's first...

honestly I'm impressed you even attempted to cook Christmas dinner with Lola being so young. We barely managed Thanksgiving with Hannah being around that age and there are two of us!

Our turkey is in the oven, should be done in an hour :wohoo:

We have had a lovely dinner cooked for us today by the next jamie oliver!!

Hubby cooked roast beef........he sealed the meat in a pan first then put it in the oven, i helped him prepare the veg as he does hate doing that-i was able to sit at the table to give him a hand......i even got told how to do it!!!

the potatoes went in the meat juice while he rested the meat!! we had roast beef, roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots, peas and sweetcorn. He did the gravy with the veg water and left it on the hob to thicken up......ooooooommmmmmgggggggg it was gorgeous!!:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

me thinks he likes cooking more than he lets on:rofl:
