when did you let LO start trying food?

6 months for both of mine, I don't really care about the supposed signs I did my research and believed that 6 months was recommended for good reason, they weren't starving so saw no reason to wean earlier, my eldest took to it immediately almost immediately going onto 3 meals a day and wolfing down his food (he was 20lb by 6 months on just breast milk!) but my youngest was quite difficult to wean he really didn't show much interest in food till 8/9 months. Both were very different babies but did the same with both of them.

I tried her with a bit of puréed carrot today after DD helped herself to my carrots last night x
